Grateful Bud's Backyard Outdoor Grow - SFV OG

Also when I went out this morning there was lots of morning dew on the leaves. Dew had dripped off my patio onto the ground - right next to my plants, and where they were sitting last week. There were several wet spots on the concrete. That may have contributed.

I checked the others and not seeing any other rot but I’m nervous as hell. I’m just in the harvest window and would prefer to go another week.
 
Another day, another 2 oz trashed due to bud rot / caterpillars.

I pulled a small cola off of Cindy due to caterpillar damage (rot). Did not see any worm but I sprayed all with BT anyway. Been a week or so since I last sprayed. Sneaky buggers have evolved and have figured out how to crawl under where I tie the netting close to the fabric pot. Bastards. Didn't get a picture, but it looks different when it's bugs that have chewed a bud. For me typically they chew on a lower bud, not the very top. Only found one cola with damage on her. No pic.

But sonofabitch Dawn just lost about 1.5oz of primo top bud! Saw rot inside what would have been her top cola and chopped the whole thing off. This was the plant where I bent her top cola 90˚ over just to see what would happen. Her top buds grew straight up and looked to be more than the top of Sunny. All trash now.

I inspected Dawn closely and found no other trace of rot. Sigh.
*crosses fingers*

So far my 2022 harvest has yielded what looks to be about a 7 grams of bud. Gonna just let it hang for a few days and then jar it for kicks.

Not yet.

I started my inspection of Dawn on the lower colas. I went around the plant cleaning off all yellow along with large fan leaves (prep for harvest), also opening her up to get more air on each cola. Lower colas all looked clean. I saved the top for last and I had my hopes up.
But not to be.
 
Damn man. You can't catch a break.
Beez might've been onto something about airflow.
Wish you were nearby, I'd hook you up with some meds on the house.
Keep what you can though. Even the questionable trim and buds you won't smoke should be fine in edibles. :hugs:

I should be able to salvage quite a bit from these two plants along with the others.
I gotta say - the two Jack Herer clones did not get hit as hard from bugs or the plague. They seem very resilient.
Crap, now I jinxed it.

That thing is fucking HUGE!

Love the zippo scale pic. I find weed pictured with an everyday object we are all familiar with really helps to visualise size accurately.

I have never produced buds like that.

The other Oh-Gee girls look to be clean - for now. I was going to chop tomorrow or Saturday, but after inspecting them all today they look good! I'll roll the dice and try and go another week.

The two Jack Herer clones have quite a bit of rot inside. But they are nowhere near ready. So I will let those continue for now. hoping I can get a few good nuggets off them as well.

I’m really hoping to get a decent haul off what remains.

I am worried about your plants tho. Rot / mold can attack quickly. Keep close eye.

SFV OG in flower since July 15th = 72 days outdoors.
Poor thing has always looked a little scraggly. I had to remove a good portion of one cola, and a scraggly inner cola as well. She still has white pistils showing so another 2-3 weeks at least for her.

I lost an ounce or so from my Auto yesterday.
The whole top cola, gone.
And a few others.
Hope my SNS kicks in soon.
