Grateful Bud's Backyard Outdoor Grow - SFV OG

Omg Scoobs!

I have done some research and it’s DEFINITELY monkey pox!

🙊🙊🙊

Lolling!

Omg these fucking plants are so stressful! You feed them, water them, love them, mollycoddle them and they are just constantly bringing us stress and anxiety! I have no idea how they survive in the wild! As you know I’m about to embark on a summer grow, and I’m so scared to once again start my War on Bugs 🐜 🐛 🦗

I hope it’s an easy fix.
Hi Tra!

I had a plan. I did not stick to the plan. I'm paying the price.
The plan: Spray Safer™ every 4-5 days until a week before harvest.
Spray BT if I even think there are caterpillars.

Hey, I'll smoke nits but you cannot smoke dead rotted flowers.

I am determined to stick to my plan.

I’m spraying today.

I’m doing neem on the veggers, Safers/ecofend on the flowers. Green Clean if I need it.

I’m gone choot em!

Just looked them up and they're around 4 grand! Also, does the extremes of pH kill on contact or does it semi-permanently change the pH of the leaves making them unpalatable to insects?

They are expensive, but not when you compare to costs of spray pesticides over a few years. They are a contact kill type of spray. All you need to do is add some salt water to the machine every once in a while.
If anyone ever has serious interest in getting a machine, get in contact with me. They may be pricey but I can put you on a payment plan over a few years.
In my opinion, the machine is worth it even if you don't grow. I use the machine for drinking water, it produces 9.5 ph drinking water. It actually produces all sorts of different PH waters that is handy for different things. 6.0 water for root growth, clones, etc.
My lady is a rep.. she can really go into all the benefits of the machine.... but I'm not trying to be a salesman here, just passing info. If you know a friend with a kangen machine in their home, maybe ask to use some 11.5 and 2.5 output to try it out yourself. I haven't bought pesticides since the machine.... I still make natural Jadam pesticides though because why not.

OK the SFV / OG girls got deloused (Safer) and a shower with hose water.
My my my they smell sweet!
Several ladybugs are still on each plant under the netting.

No bud damage - just a few ratty looking leaves. Still not sure what those black dots are. I'll spray Safer every 3 days for next two weeks (at least).

But I got a bigger problem. Literally.
I have most colas tied with small green gardening wire to either the tomato cage or the main stalk for support (or moved to where I want them). Some colas are not tied. When I washed and rinsed the girls several colas were so heavy they bent over and dang near broke the branch. I need more green wire.

These buds are chunky!

Man I hope I get these ladies to the finish line.

I think my brother has one of those machines. I'll ask him. It makes alkaline drinking water, yes? Thats what he has.

The second is Sunny. She is a Gorilla SFV OG.
She was first to really show flower - July 4th.
Looking good, however I may have a problem.

I'm seeing tiny black dots on her (and her sisters) leaves.
Could be worm poop - which I'd be surprised if they got thru the netting.
Or I could have a bunch of ladybugs shitting all over my plants.
Or ?

I'm a little concerned. Any thoughts?

@InTheShed @Carcass @Trala @Bill284 @Regrowth @HashGirl @StoneOtter

Please tell me it's not worm poop. Not seeing any bud damage or browning / drying flowers. Just black dots on ugly leaves. I did not spray citric spray on the SFV / OG girls.

Thanks!
Good morning GB sorry about the bugs, such a beautiful lady.
Obviously bug spray neem oil and safers soap, asap.
But I'd get some @Sierra Natural Science the little buggers hate the taste of the stuff and stop eating your girls.
All natural too, no harmful chemicals.
Hope you have a great day my friend. :ciao:

Stay safe

My plants bring all the bugs to the fray
And they're like, what taste is this?
Damn right it tastes like piss!
I can kill them, but I have to spray

LOL!
I can teach you but I’d have to charge ;)

Thanks Bill!

In my experience Neem imparts an off taste if used in flower. I use in veg only. I’ll check out the Natural Science.

I think I’m 3 weeks from harvest but will see.

I plan on doing a 4 bucket bud wash so hoping most of what’s left will be washed off.

bingo. Get him to fill you up with 2.5 and 11.5. Spray in intervals, one than the other... It's basically free once you have the machine... and your basically spraying with water that helps kill mold.... so you're not molding your buds further by spraying with water.

Maybe on the next run ;)

Sounds very interesting.

Gave filtered water with CalMag to all today.

I defoliated the dead leaves off of Julie and Janice, then sprayed both with Safer™. Hose wash about 30 mins later. Getting frustrated with these two. All of them to be honest. Next year if I act like I'm going to grow more than 3-4 plants someone punch me. Not sure how Bill does it.

Anyway . . .

The OG ladies look good except for a few scraggly leaves. Gonna spray Safer again in a day or two.
Hope you are having a great Tuesday (or whatever it is on your planet)!

Oh, it was 103˚F here today; 19% humidity.
Gonna be hotter than balls for the next 8 days.
Thanks defs warm. But your humidity is your saviour.

My temps get to there with 80% humidity. It’s the sort of humidity that makes a dry fart wet. Lol

LMAO!

Today we got up to 109˚F / 43˚C with 11% humidity. Hot but not sweaty. I would drop dead at 80%.
