No worries, GH.. I've been reading your journal, and I know that things have been rather busy and draining over there. Take your time, there's just no hurry. Take care of yourself and those people first those needs are much more immediate. . It'll be awhile before we be able to make any of it anyway. Thanks for checking in! .
 
Happy Sunday, everyone! I think today is the day we will chop Emma and Elsa. I'm told they're looking worse every day, so I think we'll just cut the losses and use them for oil. I would like to produce some oil that we can vape using our empty cartridges that we'd been hoarding... LOL
We also held back on the water for Jaws. She was not displaying any need for water, so I figured to error on the side of caution and leave her be. I have a sneaky feeling will need to do the watering today. I'll check in with you guys later with numbers, Etc.

Emma and Elsa are now down, and as soon as we can figure out how to make some oil that can be vaped using refillable tanks or cartridges, they're hanging in a cool dry and dark place.

Jaws has surprised me already. I could have sworn she would have been wilting from thirst when we opened the tent. Nope! I was told she looks excellent and now has her fourth set of leaves. I will check on her tomorrow
Temp = 82°
rH = 38%
I'm thinking about adding another bowl of water and towel. Hopefully that will raise the humidity some more, since now it is only Jaws in the tent.
 
Congrats on the harvest, Grandpa! I hope they turn into some good meds for you :)
Glad to hear Jaws is on her 4th set of leaves, she'll definitely love the extra humidity

It may not be much of one, but it is yours and you deserve to feel proud of it :circle-of-love: I'm sure you'll get some oil for vaping, can't wait to see another update of Jaws. She's turning out to be a cutie. Do you plan on topping her or letting her grow all natural?

Hey some is Better then none I'm sure grow 2 heal me will ask you to tag along her travels which I think you are already but she will more then likely help guide you down the path I can tell you to eithier clean buds with some lemon juice that has a lifting agent post pic for ya and baking soda

Oh and distilled water or ones to 6

Then once done cutting hang it for 4 hrs and then cut down even stems to fit in baggie for freezer. In the meantime well hanging a light brezez slightly hitting it well ha ha for that four hrs .

That's all I got for now brotha ..

You make a good point, Fair. Thank you. As far as the topping or LST. Frankly depends on whether height becomes an issue. If she gets too tall, I'll probably have to. I'll need a lot of help in that area. Height does not become an issue, I'll probably leave her natural.

Thanks, KJ. I am following GH's thread. I'm afraid I really don't understand the washing process. I do have and want to start using my magic butter machine. I think it makes vapable oils. I also understand it dicarbs as part of the cycle. Hopefully I can find an online manual that can be read to me by my phone. Even if I can find a .PDF file that I can convert to a .doc or even a .txt file, I think I can muddle through it and figure it out.
 
Good morning, everyone! I'm sorry for being MIA yesterday. I had to travel an hour away from home for specific medical tests for my heart. I was purely and totally exhausted when I returned home. As I was going over what I missed in your journals, I literally fell asleep and stayed that way until early this morning.
Kelley gave Jaws some water yesterday at 6.7. Did not get a runoff, so no reading there. This morning, the temp was 87 degrees and the rH was 37%. I think we will go ahead and add another towel into the tent and see what happens with the humidity. Here she is in regular lighting outside the tent.

Also, if anyone can help me out with being able to make some vapable oil that can be put into cartridges or tanks, and is very simple to do, I would appreciate it! I would love to be able to fill our empty ones with home-made oil.

Jaws is lookin SWEET Grandpa!! I'm sure someone around here has some experience with vapable oil, you've probably hundreds of years of combined growing/harvesting/processing experience supporting you on your journal so I hope that question gets solved quick for you
 
Jaws is coming along well Gramps!!! Gonna be time for a transplant soon!!!

As for the vape oil. You have to have your cannabis reduced to something like shatter before you can mix it and make "juice".
Making the extract is a moderately difficult process and really should be done with the appropriate equipment.
