Grandpa's Second Try - Come Join Us!

When we check the girls last night before bed they were pretty droopy I was told. So we gave them a drink. The water went in at 6.3 and came out of both Emma and Elsa at 6.3. This morning, I'm told that the top of Emma is still looking droopy and some of the pistils are starting to turn brown. Also a leaf at the bottom of Emma is turning yellow/brown. as well. I'm assuming this might be the stress from the accidental crimping? kelley says the top of Emma above the crimp is still droopy looking. I'll post pics as soon as we can get them.

This morning we made a couple of changes. We raised the lights to 18 inches for the white one and 19 inches for the green one. We also switched plant locations so that Elsa is now mostly under the green one and Emma is now mostly under the white one. After watering, they perked up and here are the pics I promise you yesterday... Finally. With no nutrients for well over a week, I am thinking that the yellowing is a deficiency of some sort. Not sure what, but that's my thought. Am I thinking along the right lines?

Hmm idk he was having this same problem with his first grow.. something has to be killing the roots and making them rot out. Doesnt look like any sort of deficiency to me.. just looks like the plants are dying along with the root system im sure. Im sorry i just have no suggestions or answers on how to fix it except for watering too much.. unless the light intensity and heat are killing the root systems?? Not sure if thats a thing.

Is the soil drying enough out between waterings? .-.

PW...all we can do is try it. Hopefully that will help.
IT & BN... when we watered them last evening, they were wilting pretty heavily. The soil was pulling away from the pots, and while they were not as light as I ever felt them, they did feel rather light, so we felt they needed a drink and gave them a drink. I don't think it's too much watering in this case. I really think that both of those lights are too much for them, maybe because they started life with much less. We'll see how they react to the white one being turned off. Cross your fingers, everyone.

Imtoasted I agree with you sorry to say. The plant he has isn't that big or full. To much light with that being a small plant will cause it to wilt along with over watering it. Plus the stress you put on it with a broken branch or part of the stem.
Not enough plant there to recouperate with all the stress on it. Hope it works out for him as I'm also lost on what he could do to save it.
