Amazing I came here to see what your harvest was on that beaut. I see I timed this pretty good for a new start! Yay4.38 zips from this one plant. Enjoy!
Hey Grandpa, wanted to dip into your Gorilla Glue expertise.
For reference, this is my 2nd time running GG from seed, running the Royal Queen Seeds version. I grew theirs before and found it true to how you and others described their experiences growing GG. I pulled after 60 days but felt like it could have gone a few days earlier without issue. IIRC you're a proponent of GG as an 8 week strain.
I ran it this fall because I felt I could fit it into my insanely tight window - I wanted a plant I could take from seed to harvest in 12 weeks. I'm at 36F now, so just starting week 6, and I'm starting to get nervous. It feels like it's still in that week 4ish mode, covered in white hairs and adding size rather than covered in frost and adding mass.
Have you ever grown it with such a short veg? I'm wondering if I need to add time to flower because of my short veg - it felt like it was still maturing in early flower and not progressing quite as quickly as I remembered. Or am I going to see it really frost up in the next few days? Have you ever grown a pheno that matured later? I checked old photos and mine was pretty frosty in my 39F photos last time.
I was aiming for a harvest on the Dec. 8/9 weekend but I'm worried I'll need to extend the time in flower and shorten my drying.
You have some amazing looking plants I am on my first grow and hope that I have half the skill or luck that you have mine will be luck this time where your ability is skill I am sure of that
For what it’s worth Grandpa, SweetSue suggested going to 11/13 and 10/14 to hasten the finish for me. I decided to give it a try. I extended lights out by 15 minutes and will daily until I’m at 10/14 in another week. I’ll let you know how that affects the GG. Although, at this point, if they finish quickly credit that isn’t necessarily deserved will go to the reduction in light hours, so who knows? Maybe I’ll just have to run it again next year to be certain!
Good morning Grandpa T, Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving Gramps!
I'm thankful today to still have GT around after his big ordeal this year. Hope you, your family, and your friends have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
