Air stones had some soap leftover...made bubbles. I left it. A little soap is good for them...Doh!
So you start in your cloner, then into just DWC for how long? Then you flower out in your 2 bucket RDWC correct?
I have all my stuff for my single DWC experiment. Just waiting to set my big tent up and move the 4 in the veg tent out. Thinking about white widdow this time. I could possibly turn the bucket about the same time as the big tent with the longer flowering sativa hybrids. Thoughts?

Sounds like a plan. I go straight from the cloner to a single bucket veg. I may run these two in single buckets all the way to finish. I haven’t decided yet. The RDWC is easier, but I may want to run more than two, just smaller. I’m finding I don’t need to have huge plants...duh. Anyway, I’m planning on flipping these two in about 2-3 weeks depending on several factors, ie., growth, health, my time, etc. They should be nice and big in a few weeks.

So if starting from seeds what medium do you start in and how do you handle things until the roots hit the water? Do you start those in the clones as well?
The RDWC looks easier but your kinda bound to the same nute. The reservoir gives you a thermal buffer. How do control temps in a single bucket?

If I start from seed I use rock wool cubes. I bought a shitton of them a long time ago and still have hundreds...I’ll keep using them until they’re gone. It’s personal now...
I top feed from the bucket until the roots get down there. When they are little I top feed about three times a day. I just dip a little pitcher in the bucket, then replace the net pot back on the bucket and pour thru the hydroton back into the bucket. I may need to do a bucket change sooner because of the hydroton dust but I’ll keep an eye on it. In a single bucket I really don’t worry about the temps much. If it gets out of control I just change the bucket. I change the bucket every week usually anyway. The rdwc is much better for that since I have a chiller. I will probably put these in the rdwc, but we’ll see. I don’t have a solid plan yet.

Thats exciting GT. Gonna be a good fall/winter growing season around here.
I'm going to be a couple of weeks behind you GT. I took a look at my 6 GG#4 clones today and I can see white nubbins starting on two of the chutes. They've been in the cloner for 7 days today. I'll need 4 of the 6 to root for an rdwc party.

Sweet! I’m going to try and keep these small...I think I’ve said that before. Good luck on the clones. I’m hoping you get four good ones. When I see the nubs I know it won’t be long. I’m sure you’ll have a full net soon!
