Just got home from another little trip. Took the boat out to the lake for some early morning fishing. Had a great time. Relatives are flying to Vegas tomorrow and I’ll be happy to get back to my routine. I’ll hit this Rosin dab and think about it...

These girls have been neglected and abused (by weather); it’s severely stunted them. It’s a miracle they’re still alive. I started giving them some nutrition and they seem to be getting better though. I hope I can nurse them back to health. We shall see.

They are totally saveable , I've had worst, just keep feeding and they will come around. They are still standing too, resilient little heroes.

What about the idea of keeping July 4th solely as Independence Day. I think that adding veterans and active military is stepping too far into the politics of protest/anti-protest these days.
I suppose. Just important to remember independence costs lots of lives... #freedomisntfree #'merica
I'm with you 100% that we should honor our troops past and present. I luckily missed the Vietnam draft by a couple of years but I remember how we treated those who came back from there, and it was a crying shame.
But we have Memorial Day for those who gave their lives and Veteran's Day for all those who served to protect our country, and they deserve and have our thanks on those days and more. I'd like let Independence Day just be a reminder of the men who sweated their balls off in steamy Philadelphia and decided that they had had enough of British control, rather than extend this holiday as another that politicians can use to promote their political agenda on what it means to honor our country.

I see what you mean. The wife always makes a little stink about people confusing veterans day and memorial day. I do it all wrong and include them together, every holiday, because I want to be politically correct and include everyone
