Which statin? I take rosuvastatin for the rest of my life. Do you take a COQ10?
Started on atorvastatin January 2021 but that gave me terrible dreams. Switched to rosuvastatin March of that year and the dreams are more manageable, though they still wake me a few times/night. I started getting muscle weakness about 6 months ago and the knees started hurting about two months ago. Going back to my doctor to see what the options are.

Been taking CoQ10 for almost 10 years!
 
Well...I'm finally up and running again. Should probably start a journal.

Darn it! I tweaked my back again…taking a few days off from physical stuff. I knew I needed a little break but didn’t listen to my body. Oh well, I just hope it gets better quickly. I hate back pain…it’s a pain in my ass!
 
I was able to walk the walk this morning. No calisthenics or weights—just walking, but I’ll take it. My back is not normal yet, but it’s close. Two days off seems to be what I needed. I’ll take the rest of the week off from any lifting or strenuous activity besides walking. I’ll probably smoke some rosin too… :cheesygrinsmiley:

 
Have no fear, yesterday I pushed the earth back onto it’s correct axis again. I need to do it every now and then so we don’t fly off into space at approximately 186,000 MPH… :cheesygrinsmiley: I also added seated Arnold presses, and seated front raises.

Today I did rows on the rings, seated dumbbell curls, and seated lateral raises while doing my walk around Del Boca Vista. The weather here is perfect at 8am for doing PT. It’s such a good feeling when it’s done for the day. :headbanger:

Nothing better, after a good sweat, than hitting some rosin. Have a good day!

Did a fairly decent push day. My back is still not back to normal, but it’s better than it was. At least I can still walk. I guess i should be thankful for that at least. It could be much worse than it is so I’ll take it.

Had a great morning workout today. Inverted rows, seated curls, and seated lateral raises. My sciatica is still there and pounding both thighs, but it’s better every day so I’m just going to continue with my life. It subsides a little while I walk and thank goodness for that. Anyway, all is good and I feel great.

Probably smoke some rosin… :cheesygrinsmiley:
 
GT I am an old fart also, 71 years old and lived a very physical life up to 35 years ago when the doctors told me to only walk, swim or ride bicycles for exercise. Bunch of injuries to most of my body while working those physical type jobs. My neck gives me the most pain since I got older. All I can say is that I mostly did it all to myself. About 5 or 6 years ago I was diagnosed, by accident, with A-Fib. My heart doctor put me on Atorvastatin and about 4 other drugs including a blood thinner. I have never took pain meds unless I had a toothache. I have found that Turmeric Extract with black pepper extract helps a lot with my arthritis in my joints and neck, I take a 1400 mg capsule the first thing in the morning and another one at bedtime. You may want to give it a try.

Pull day. Really good workout this morning. My back is still not 100%, but I’m able to do my complete workouts again which is very important to me and my mental health. I’m wacky enough without that… :rofl:

Another great push day. I did body weight dips, seated behind the neck presses, and seated front raises for some shoulder activation. My wife and I are getting up earlier (Zero-Dark-Thirty) because of the heat down here. I’m still drenched with sweat by the time I’m done, but it’s cooler. Anyway, I feel pretty good.
