Grandpa Tokin’s Perpetual

Woohoo! Grandpa is literally laying in his own bed! I’m a very happy guy. I’m exhausted, but very, very happy to be home!

Glad to hear you are home. How is the pain level? Manageable I hope.

All this talk about fishing. I had a boat much of my adult life until recently. Fishing where I did when had it will spoil a person. I have slaughtered so many perch, walleye and steel head over the years. The boat just got too expensive and the weather uncooperative unless you like trying to fish in big waves. There is nothing better than cleaning a bunch of yellow perch and then frying them up right after cleaning them. Nope I am not getting another boat.... lol

Yeah. Think I'll be trading in my 2 wheeler for a boat this summer. After seeing gramps on the lake in all those pics it will be an easy trade. Just need an xxxxs life jacket for my co captain and an xl for me!

So glad your home bud. Enjoy the comfort of your own bed and home.... albeit I know eugene misses you already!

Thanks for keeping us posted

Good shit man!! Good shit!

I’m blessed for sure. Thank you!

Hooray! Great to hear Grandpa

Thanks bud. I appreciate it.

Glad your back at home and on the mend GT. Out of curiosity, did you have a conversation with the doctors about dabbing, capsules and such after surgery?

I did not bring it up. I should have, but I just didn’t. I know the deal. I need at least 8 weeks for the sternum to reconnect. I doubt I’ll hit any smokable product for that time. Capsules on the other hand, will be okay in a few. Although, now I must use EVOO instead of coconut oil.

Congratulation GT! Now tell us how bad that scar turned out to be. We can take it. After all, we got to see LBJ's :).

You’re all in for a treat...I’ll post a picture of the damage in a few days. It’s horrible at the moment. I’m hoping it’ll look a little better after a shower.

Welcome home Grandpa! :hugs: What a great relief. Regards to Grandma!

Thanks bud! She’s happy to have me home too.

Pain is actually manageable. I can’t believe it, but it’s working.

Thank Dabs! I enjoy my little putt-putt. I can load and unload by myself so that’s important...Doh, or I could. I’ll have to wait that 4-6 week Mark to see.

I appreciate each of you.

As an outdoor grower most of my life, I learned alot about disguising and self containing/fertilizing plants... An old ass pharmer, told me one time to put the fish I clean, or dont want in bottom of hole for planting in.. Then put plant on top with a seperating level of rock and dirt... I have always done that in my out of the way grows, but as it stinks quite a bit in the heat of the summer sometimes I dont do it near my residence... Works dynamite though....
Also draws coons to dig the shit up

I asked Grandma to take one now...Doh! I can’t believe it. I really can’t believe it.

That actually looks a lot better than what i have seen in the past with family having it done. Funny how main stream the proceedure has gotten. Glad your're home and on the mend. Really glad granny got you to the hospital when she did. I have had a few people i know cash out early with a major attack. When i was younger i was going to weddings now not so much. You should be good for a long time with the rebuilt motor.

Glad you are home......always easier to recover at your own comfortable space.

Now to revise that rib recipe. A doctor once told me, "if it tastes good, spit it out". Tree bark and dirt man.....that is what is left.

Glad to hear you’re home GT!

I got a question for you DWC peeps, how do you go about adding calmag and/or silica? My line of nutes has a feeding chart for top feed/drain to waste and has it on “water days” ... wasn’t sure how to approach it with constant DWC

Send the company an email and ask the question. Thats certainly your best bet, and they'll be happy to help if they're any kind of company.
