Grandpa Gets Oily! Everclear Extracts For Shatter Or Oil!

Thanks OldSalt , I made 91 capsules ! The taste was just as Grandpa Tokin said it would ! Took one yesterday and 45 minutes after belched the green , chewed a tums and went away ! Higher than high , I think they are just right slept after the second one for 10-1/2 hours! Didn’t feel it when I got up , felt refreshed .
How should I store these capsules?

Thanks Grandpa Tokin will get them in there ! I want the yellow color as yours for the next run , live and learn ! The flavor at the start throws it off till you get the laid back buzz . You said it was going to taste like that . I have another 250 grams of sugar leaves left . Had it marked on the jar that has 203 grams in it ,white queen , pot of gold , rainbo kush and three grows of candy kush in this jar . Ought to be some good rosin from them .

I wished we lived close enough to do so ! It’s turned out perfect . I liked the buzz without the smoke in my old ass lungs ! Thank goodness Old Salt stopped me from adding too much oil or I’d have to take four of them . Believe I have enough sugar leaves to keep me in oil for ever . I get pee color from the everclear and I’ll get to Dutchman 1990 , Preston 9MM and Scrogster cooking and gummies with it .
 
Today I got everything ready to make this falls FECO/CCO.
Not sure on the weight, forgot to weigh it, but it was multiple zips of mostly non-trimmed bud and some sugar leaf. It was packed into a 1 gallon jar.
Started with 8 bottles of 190 proof. Did three washes and strained through double filters twice.
Not sure when I will have the time for reduction, may wait till I get a new distiller. Mine is warped and is not sealing well so I am losing a lot of alcohol in the process.

Need a new distiller. Can y'all post what distillers you folks are using?

Here is the process after extraction.

Before filtering, got 7.4 liters of extract, so I lost 0.6 liters in the rinsing process.
First two rinsings, you can see the chlorophyll, so I set them out in the sun for not long at all, maybe 15 minutes and the chlorophyll is gone.

The third rinsing, was very green prior to putting it in the sun, this is after the 15 minutes in the sun.

Will not do anything until I get anew distiller.
 
I’ve been looking at the Seeutech distiller at Amazon . $97 I saw the one your using in there also !

I am looking into Short path distillation units now like using glassware, The unit I am using now is hard to check on the progress of the oils so with glass we should be able to check progress.

Glass is good, but subject to breakage. Measuring the distillate, or the temperature in your kettle will both let you know when the solvent has evaporated.

Those short path distillation kits aren't cheap! It looks impressive Dr. Frankenstein.
I hope it's performance is equally impressive for you.
