Grand Daddy Purple S1 & Pre-1998 Bubba Kush S1

Plants look great.... The chart,, hell I can't read even... But hey is a good short book by Greg Green I thinks about seed breeding that made sense, even to this simple mind. Really is a good read about breeding. Love the looks of your plants. Look like they should make your teeth hurt... Keepem Green
 
Note: So far all 8 of the GDP more-haired x GDP less-haired seeds opened up and are in pots. They seem to be the most vigorous of these crosses. Second, 7 of the original GDP x GDP f2 seeds opened. Only 5 of the GDP less-haired x GDP less-haired seeds opened so far, and only 3 of the GDP S1s, so I potted them all too. They're under a 200 watt blue spectrum CFL running at 18/6. Post pics soon.

Wow, thats going to be a lot of PURPLE brother!!! Can't wait to see them grow!

What's up... I'm familiar with ocean grown seeds.. They have a good reputation for putting out quality seeds. There breed by Vador, he has a YouTube channel were he's growing his gear.. There's also another member around here growing his Jawa Pie.. Looks delicious.. The AstroChimp strain looks fantastic too. If they are having a booth they will probably have some deals. I wouldn't sleep on the chance to grab a pack or 2 directly from the breeder. He might even have some new gear that's unavailable to the public..

I did make it to their booth yesterday. Met Vador. Cool dude. Got a pack of Malibu pie. Also stopped by the TGA both. They had a freebie pack if you bought 2 packs. Cup was a blast. I've never been somewhere everyone's walking around blazing blunts, booths with dabs, jars of everything you could think of. Was a good day

I went to a convention recently and while people were not able to smoke at it it was weird seeing all the weed, oil and plants on display. I could have bought clones right there but decided against it. There was a TGA distributor there and I wanted to pick up some 9 lb hammer but you had to buy 5 other packs first :yikes: I couldnt justify spending that much on their gear when Dynasty Genetics was there and they were who I was there to see. After hearing they lost one of their parent strains though i kind of kick myself. I had already ordered a few of their strains not too long before that with the last one being their Ripped Bubba which I just dropped recently. That is a nice looking freebie pack :thumb:
 
I saw some clones yesterday that I thought about buying. I'm too scared of bringing bugs home to my grow room. Too many horror stories from my friends about spider mites

It was a blast. I'm not much of a dab guy. I like some bud or hash. But I have to say, the 2 dabs I did at the cup had me high as f@#k. I think I mentally crashed later and had a weed hangover. Lol

Lol, Sounds like some good dabs. I go through phases, sometimes I dab, sometimes I like hash or straight flower but the dabs of rosin destroy my tolerance and make getting high off flower feel impossible.
 
There are more; they haven't developed enough yet to see. I don't know my a$$ from a hole in the ground about plant genetics, but it may be something that has to do with selfing a plant that's been selfed previously. Quite a few of the GDP S1s are opened and two have enough leaves to confirm a polyploid condition, at least temporarily. Here are two of them (I took two pics of each):
