Grand Daddy Black Grows A Stack

It's (used) painter's tape. I got it for free!
So you spend months growing ur weed, adding nutes, adjusting your lighting, etc. Then several more weeks drying. Your gonna spend more time burping your jars; and ur gonna apply used painter tape? That’s just wrong. (Walks away slowly shaking his head)

Would it make it better if I let you know that those are brand new Mason jars? :laughtwo:

Hello growers.

Yesterday was the end for the Strawberry Banana Grape on day 84 post-flip.

Having spent a 48 hour term, out of the Box of Darkness she came.

I chopped most of her. There maybe about another 60-70g of some light-weight buds remaining on the plant. I put it back in the Box of Darkness and will finish the job at some point today.

She was super-sticky. I went through 3 pair of gloves due to glove hash build-up.

I had a nice amount of it by the end.

Here is most of her separated by upper colas and lower (fully-formed) buds.

She weighed in at 399g wet, and only almost filled my bowl.

Three down and three to go.
As they say at the barbershop, "Next!"

Peace.

I love how you harvest on the Washington Post Newspaper...lol.:laughtwo: We get to read the top headlines! :high-five: Congrats on your current and upcoming harvest GDB! Looking good over here. :thumb:
Thanks, Boo.

Please let me know if there's a particular section of the paper you'd like featured in upcoming chops!

Hello growers.

It's time for another episode of:

Only The Clonely
I'm looking at my SBG clone this morning and thinking, "No matter what I do, I'm not gonna' be able to finish her in the 2x2 tent." At only 4ft tall with the light hanging 14 inches from the top of that, it's just to damn short. And even if I move the light up, I don't think 2x2 is enough of a footprint to allow me to train her the way I want.

I have an option that is less than ideal, but it will have to do.

When I take down the last 3 photos in my basement tent, which should happen over the next 7-10 days, I'll move the clone in there. And because she's drinking so much, I will up-pot her to a 7-gallon pot when I move her. I'll do some more training on her, give her a couple of weeks to get settled and then flip her.

It's going to look wasteful, one plant sitting in the middle of a 5x5 tent. And it will look really odd sitting under that huge Nextlight Mega. I'll probably turn off the Mega (she could use a break) and hang my Spider Farmer SF4000. Like the Mega it has a 5x5 footprint, but unlike the Mega it's not a big as a large flat-screen TV!

This scheme will allow me to start some new photo babies in the 2x2, to be moved to the 5x5 once the clone is done. My next grow in the 5x5 will be four photo plants in 7 gallon pots.

Ha! Another plan fraught with potential snafus! :Rasta:

Peace.

I like your idea GDB. I'm sure with the right training you could grow the clone in the 2x2 but it would get quite crowded as it is. It will be quite comfortable in the 5x5, you could always veg it a little longer than planned or even take a few more clones from the clone, and once they root put them in the tent as well under 12/12 to fill in the gaps. They may not yield as much but just a suggestion.

That's a good suggestion, Dick.

The only thing is, I'm trying to slow my roll over the summer. After the clone is done I will probably just go with those next four and that will be it as far as new grows this summer (of course I'll still have to finish the 4 that are currently in the 4x4 tent).

I need time to get in some golf this summer. I haven't played in months and once I get back out there I know I'll find it as addictive as growing weed, just with more cursing. :laughtwo:

Then I guess it looks like you only had 1 option to begin with. Out that plant in the 5x5 and get ready for golfing lol

You have plenty of width in that tent to tie it flat and create another 12" of space, easy. If you wanted to of course... :)
You are the second member to say that!

I wished one or both of you lived nearby. :Rasta:
