I'm not worried about it Carcass. But...I can no longer look at the plant without seeing suspects. It's a messed up game my head is playing on me!I didn't find a seed in the GSC till a year after harvest- one seed so far, and I've been smokin' on it for over a year now...I don't think there's any more or I'd of found them by now...
The point is- it is possible for a plant to produce just one seed, so you may not need to worry much about it..
Good answer I got it.It's a new thing Keith!
I guess if there is only one seed it's not a bad thing. If there are LOTS more seeds then I guess it's not a good thing.
That's the best answer I have.
With a bit of luck it'll just be the odd few.I was eyeballing the girls this morning and found a seed on Copy.
That's a lot of seeds!!!With a bit of luck it'll just be the odd few.
I have purposely pollinated selected branches to make seeds/crosses and occasionally had a stray seed or three come up elsewhere but so few that I didn't feel it was a problem. Unlike a fellow outdoor grow buddy near me who missed a male plant in his outdoor garden and the heat of summer the bees went mental to gather the pollen for their food and in doing so severely pollinated his females, of which he gave me some sample buds which I measured as being 50% - 60% seeds by weight!
Other than not driving yourself crazy looking for more seeds, I'd suggest letting it ripen as long as you see fit for the plant. Nothing you do now will have any effect on the number of seeds at harvest, so if you can, ignore it and carry on as you were. Are there more?
That last question has caused a big problem and will likely lead to a swift takedown of Copy.

I'm blaming this behavior on what I'll call my "Suspect-Meter." And I suspect this meter is going to be a lot harder to ignore than my Lazy-Meter!
Right there with ya, and now I've got hundreds of seeds. So I'm gonna throw caution (and seeds duh!) to the wind and see what grows in my backyard this summer!Hello all.
It's Flip + 80 for Copy and Paste and their days are numbered. (But there's been some back and forth about what that number should be! )

I've never seen a seed on one of my plants before. I don't know what to make of it.

The problem?
Now I'm looking all over the plant for more seeds (or nanners). And you know what? Once I started doing that I began to see bud after bud after bud that looked like they had something similar to seed, or something that might become a seed, or something that looks like it's hiding a seed and on and on...
I've found one damn seed and now my mind (in collusion with my eyes) is trying to convince me that there are hundreds more.

There are no more seeds that I can see, but I'm driving myself batty seeing "suspects."
As I said, this is my first time dealing with this. I don't think I'm gonna' be able to turn off the Suspect-Meter so I'm planning to take her down perhaps sooner than anticipated.
My new scope stand will be here sometime today. I'll leave her standing until I can scope her trichs. (Shit. Even that's going to be a problem because when I go to get a budlet from the plant to scope that damn Suspect-Meter will automatically kick on. I might be in there looking around for an hour just trying to cut a piece of bud from the plant. )
I hope you understand my dilemma.
Thanks for your time.
PEACE

I'm gonna germ some of the nicer looking ones for "real" planting and maybe a few dozen I'll throw into the yard and cover with soil once frost warnings are done. Also gonna try an auto outside too. My backyard is gonna be full of bees and other pollinators and hummingbirds.Good luck!
How many you gonna' toss out there?
Stone, if I start tweezing stuff that my mind is making up then I've really lost it!Just don't throw the baby out with the bathwater GDB. Maybe take a tweezer and give a squish on some of the suspects? Give you some piece of mind.
Chop?Hello all.
It's Flip + 81 for Copy & Paste this is weird...
Why does Paste have this single bud with those big leaves growing out of the top?
They don't look like sugar leaves and they don't look like fan leaves either. Anybody know what the hell that's about?
PEACE
What Mel said!Looks like she's trying to reveg
It's making me think of those autos that look like they're revegging that we see from time to time.Or it's a foxtail that wants to be a branch...
I'd say reveg also, but with the lights at 12/12 I don't think that's possible...or is it?
