Hello growers.
It's Flip + 61 for the clones, that's a total of 89 days above soil.
Realgrowers recommends a 98 day grow cycle (4 weeks veg + 10 weeks bloom) as ideal.
Per their website:
Grow Dots work great with a 4 Week Veg and up to a 10 Week Bloom.
A 16 Weeks grow cycle is the maximum we’d suggest for Grow Dots. But you’re much better off going with a 14 week grow cycle.
Clearly, these Dot-fed plants are not going to be done within the next 9 days. I need to think about what to use to get them to the end. I've already topped all of their soil surfaces with a layer of Root's Organics Lush soil and that should help out a bit, but I'd like to do a bit more. I'm up in the air about what to use (too many options). It would make sense to use something I have on hand (Geoflora Bloom) but would be more interesting to try something new to me (maybe top-feed with Azomite).
What do you folks think?
Thanks for looking in.
Peace.
From their website:Azomite
That's a great idea Mel! Why not try both?Maybe 2 with GF and one with azomite?
Or vice versa.
Yeah, it's more for the soil than the plant. I think I'll go to the hydro store and look around. That's probably what I wanted to do anyway! From their website:
"Technically, AZOMITE® is a highly mineralized complex silica ore (Hydrated Sodium Calcium Aluminosilicate"
Not sure that's an adequate replacement for the fading Dots so I'd be more inclined to start GF now.
I troll around alot. I eventually get back around . Like now. Another words when u poop back up on first screen again. Lmao.Hey I haven’t seen you around in a hot minute!
Nice to see you
It doesn't bother me too much Dust, unless I'm waiting for some space to clear for new plants!Your in wait game also. ..me too sucks. Don't it.
Lmao. Hell I been graphing plants fining crap to keep busy.It doesn't bother me too much Dust, unless I'm waiting for some space to clear for new plants!
How are smelling? Prolly as good as they lookThanks Bill.
There are some "heavies" in there. And there is an intricate web of ties trying to hold them upright. Seems to be working thus far.
Thanks Cap!How are smelling? Prolly as good as they look
Beautiful garden Amigo.Hello growers.
It's Flip + 62 for the clones.
As I reported yesterday, for the Grow Dot-fed plants I'm getting close to the end of the 14-week grow cycle recommended by Realgrowers, their manufacturer. I'll reach that point 8 days from now and the plants are not close to being finished. The Kera Bubblegum in particular is still full of all white pistils. The remaining plants at least have plenty of colored pistils but even they have a ways to go.
I had considered using Geoflora Bloom to bring them home, but that's really not an option since I've promised the Mrs. that I will only use GF in the basement tent. When I've used them upstairs in the past she complained that it made the top floor of the house smell like an "outhouse."
Some of you may recall that I really like Roots Organics Lush soil. It's a highly fortified soil that will give you 6 weeks of gangster growth with water-only feeding, then it needs help. I used GF to finish a plant that I grew in Lush and it turned out okay (Translation: I absolutely loved it but thought could have been better).
After that grow I purchased some Roots Organics dry Bloom nutrients to pair with the Lush soil. But I hope they'll be good for this situation too, so that's what the Dotted plants will get for the remainder of their lives, beginning with tonight's feed.
It's derived from Fishbone Meal, Bat Guano, Crab Meal, Feather Meal, Langbeinite, Volcanic Rock Dust, Soybean Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Greensand, Phosphate Rock, Volcanic Ash and Hop Flowers. I'll use it as a top-feed.
View through the side door this morning:
The Kera Bubblegum is back left and her colas look like snow balls - no colored pistils in sight.
Thanks for visiting.
Peace.
My son says it smells like a bat cave- I've never been in a bat cave, but I assume they stink pretty good...it made the top floor of the house smell like an "outhouse."
YES! Sweet piece! You got me so excited when I saw yours I had to go squish something too! I just took 3 pretty liberal hits of skywalker kush rosin in mine. What was I saying? Oh yeah, enjoy your new vape! daab it up!Hello grow gang. It's time for my REVEAL!
When my alter ego, Darth Vaper, asked to use my credit card a week ago I was a little concerned, but not very concerned. I reasoned that I sort of have to trust him because he's me. Had I denied him use of my card, he would have just gone into his wallet, pulled out his card, and used it anyway. And I would have been helpless to stop him because, well, I'm just not that crazy yet.
Okay, enough of that!
I took delivery of 420 sponsor @Ispire's daab today.
If Mrs. GDB thinks I've been staring at stuff too much from smoking my "smashed stuff," she's likely to really get an eyeful now!
It comes in a nice hard carrying case.
And everything's padded inside.
Constructed and ready for charging.
And (maybe) I'll be back later tonight after giving it a test run. I'm looking forward!
Peace.
I'm drooling over them!Hello all.
It's Flip + 54 for the clones and, thankfully, I continue to have nothing to report!
All the girls are just putting on weight now. The yellowing on some of the Dot-fed plants seems to have subsided (I believe due to the addition of some calmag in their feeds).
I'm going out on the limb with yet another bold prediction! The MC-fed Black Domina clone (front right in the pic below) will be the first plant down. She's slowing down her drinking and looks more developed than the others.
Black Domina clone:
untrained Black Cherry Punch:
trained Black Cherry Punch:
Kera Bubblegum:
I'm doing what I can to keep her upright, but her buds are getting heavy!
In other news, after putting the @Ispire daab through it's paces I am quite pleased. I can get a lot more out of the daab than the small pens I had been using and the vape is cool and smooth-tasting. I just need to be careful not to pull too much or it's just a cough-fest, similar to when I combust weed.
Thanks for stopping by.
Peace.
I think it takes a week or more for whatever you may want to use to get revved up, so you might should think about that. What do you folks think?
I new to Uprising Bloom. Any tips on the best way to use it Stone?YES! Sweet piece! You got me so excited when I saw yours I had to go squish something too! I just took 3 pretty liberal hits of skywalker kush rosin in mine. What was I saying? Oh yeah, enjoy your new vape! daab it up!

I'm a fan of Rising Bloom. Still nice and buzzed and it took me only an hour to write this.
