Goody's Dessert On Mars: Blueberry & GSC Autos, Sponsored By Weedseedsexpress & Featuring MarsHydro

These ladies definitely have an odor to them. Every day a little better ;) still no color on the blueberry though. Soon.

They have maxed out the height of this tent, and damn near the width of it too. Very few issues so far- a tiny bit of spotty cal deficiency up top on a few leaves, likely due to lockout from me trying to give them Sweet Candy/purpinator along with MC. I backed off that for now, and gave them a bit of CalMag instead. Pretty standard to see that around this phase with MC, hoping it clears up or at least just doesn’t get any worse. For now these ladies are barely affected by it, and growing like mad. Pretty happy bunch here.

And quite a tree trunk on the GSC!

A bit more “normal” on the Blueberry

I guess they have to be, since some of the branches are 40+ inches tall. Gonna make for some great bud spears by the end.

She’s getting pretty. And pretty stinky.

These still have 3-4 weeks left, I can imagine the smell won’t be going away during that time.
Very happy with these plants and with the space.
Happy Sunday everyone!

How much cal/mag did you use and did you back off the MC a tad to compensate for the cal/mag?

My auto is showing some spotting, not as bad as last time, and she's my guinea pig for the photo grow that is getting flipped tomorrow ;

I use about 2-3 ml and back that MC off just a pinch (along with no additives until the spotting subsides) Pretty standard problem now and seems to correct itself pretty quickly as long as that calcium really is the issue.
Some people say with the LEDs, certain varieties require more Calcium. That also may be true, all I know is it seems to happen at some point on most of the autos I’ve grown.
Hope you grow out of it, thanks for stopping in!

All leaf problems seem to have been temporary, the new growth is clean looking and healthy with this dose of MC (5.3G ish) now we just wait as it fills out.

I try to rotate the plants a little so everyone gets light equally, but it’s tough when they are so huge and spread out.

A little bending here and there last week helped get all the final climbing branches into the same level of light.

The only thing missing thus far- Blueberry isn’t even showing a hint of color. Healthy, happy, on schedule, but no blue.

Maybe the next few weeks will bring that change? Today they look good so I’m not worried about those details yet, though it will be interesting to see if it happens at all.

They look fixed to this untrained eye. Good catch, Justin!

Getting crowded in there. :Rasta:

If you need to make room in the tent I can take one off your hands haha. Was that the one with the spotting?
Yes, about 2 weeks ago (seemed to be right on schedule lol) some brown spots up high and a few fading/brown leaves down low on the blueberry. Pulled back (stopped) the K supplements first, and added CalMag for a few waterings.
Now it can put all of the energy into finishing rather than trying to steal from the rest of the plant.
As we know, the plant will still finish with those spots, but it’s much happier when it’s not crispy and brown all over.

It’s not all bud, but it’s tall bud.

This is the GSC, slightly taller and growth looks to be about a week behind the BB. More reminiscent of the Wedding Cake I grew previously, the GSC is taking longer to build but will definitely be the more trichome-covered of these 2. The next few weeks should be very frosty if all goes well.

Where did you buy your scale? Mine didn't come with an ish setting.

That's a solid tent of flowers! And the two blueberry autos I grew didn't get any color or smell of blueberries either! Was still a good nighttime smoke though.
For a long time I was using my big scale, and didn’t realize how inaccurate it really was on the 1G setting. I would call it 5, but it could be anywhere within 4.5-5.5 and the scale just wasn’t accurate enough to give me a proper reading (great for OZ and LBS)
Now I’m using the jewelry scale and getting much more precise readings. 5.315 was the actual amount. I used to swear more was more with MC but it does occasionally pay to dial it back. There are a few seeds I’d love to run again now that I know that ;)

Blueberry, not blue but very pretty.

And it’s looking a lot closer to being done than the GSC, who is at least at week or 2 behind but also very pretty, and building nicely to be a little frost factory.

Very pretty indeed, but I think you can give up hopes for blue at this point!
Not even a speck on there...:laughtwo: BUT it is developing a really sweet berry smell in the past week. That is much more important than the color to me anyway. Also been drinking a ton of water and keeping on the weight. You can see a few tiny spots on those leaves, and you know I'm giving it as much extra K as I can without causing a problem. Flavor is my ultimate goal.
The GSC I'm loving the way the flowers are shaping up, looking a lot like the Wedding Cake buds did with about 3 weeks left. Not sure they will get AS chunky, but a lot can happen in these last weeks.

Congrats on your wins today, big guy! Very impressive trophy case you got there.
