Goody's Dessert On Mars: Blueberry & GSC Autos, Sponsored By Weedseedsexpress & Featuring MarsHydro

Glad to hear that you won't have much popcorn brother :passitleft:
I used to have a hard time trimming that lower growth just because it had flowers on it...but in the end that weight all gets redistributed, plus better airflow and less of that scrawny growth where pests often like to start their lifecycle. There will be plenty of little stuff for pressing and joints, no matter how hard I try to make it all big buds.
But you’re right- now is the critical time to trim away the nonessentials and put all its energy into those main colas. Generally my autos have been flowering way earlier than this, and excessive branching wasn’t even a problem. These plants want to grow, I better keep up!

I feel you brother. It is not always easy to trim non essential parts. I'll be running Pink Kush and Purple Punch for a long while. Purple Punch is an amazing strain in every way and so does the Pink Kush but this genetic is a nightmare to grow. I had to go SOG with the last batch of clones because my PK doesn't respond to training in a good way. Main colas are amazing for pressing. I'm blasting fine nugs for live resin and I'm a big fan of that kind of product. That's why I'll probably end up with a dual SOG.

A view from underneath the canopy,

much cleaner and now the focus is all on upper growth.

Sorry...couldn't help myself!

#nolarf!
Indeed it all needs to go, I was just being lazy as usual. No more hippie larf nugs down there :p it’s like a military haircut now.

I really like the way this Blueberry is stacking up. Looks like the stretch is about done and the chunking up is about to begin. I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised with both of these plants- though I’m glad I had the extra room so they could spread out. The building blocks for greatness are definitely right here:

The @Mars Hydro light is getting these ladies to do things my previous light could not.
Currently they are getting MegaCrop 5.3g/G and a pinch (.4 g) Sweet Candy and about 2 ml @purpinator and seem to be loving that.

hey Justin, we are holding a contest, do you have any interesting?

As much as I love contests, that light is a bit bigger than I could even fit....plus being a staff member here makes me ineligible. Thank you for the consideration, and for the light I’m using now, which I won in a previous contest you had.
Thanks for making a great affordable product, I’m sure whoever wins will be very pleased with the results in their garden.

I didn't realize you'd become an administrator. Congratulations

I love when there’s just the right amount of space, you can kind of feel what the final picture will look like in here about a month from now.

For a smaller footprint light, the TS1000 does a great job of covering this canopy.

I'm about 2 months late getting to this thread but at least I didn't stumble in drunk, and the party is still going on! :Rasta:

Those @Weed Seeds Express products look like super-autos. Of course much of that has to do with them being put in the hands of the right grower.

Great work, Justin!
