Golden Tiger - In Hydro By Gwhunran 2023

Golden Tiger
Day 37 since flip.

The grow room is running normally.
The tray root obstruction is fully cleared. Checked again this morning to remove any root pieces that might have settled back on the tray screen since yesterday. Also cleaned the water pump filter and re-installed.

Gonna wait another day to mix up a new CO2 bucket.

The shoots are reaching up to the 2nd screen. I think the first one will be there tomorrow :cheer:

One more step in getting the other flood and drain ready next door.:) I'm really looking forward to that grow too. One of the wish list strains,:cheesygrinsmiley: that I've long dreamed of growing.:) Four clones sitting in the diy DWC, in the small tent. I'll be creating the grow journal real soon.:bong:

Reservoir change this morning. Running a repeat of the last reservoir, modified GH concentration for Early Bloom. Lesser amounts of Micro and CalMag+. Added a small amount of KoolBloom(0-10-10) this time. PHed to 5.8-6.2.

Still haven't made another CO2 bucket. Soon.:)

The plants are looking good and stretching to the 2nd screen. Still no signs of nute burn or deficiency.:) Will keep an eye out, especially after reservoir change.:hmmmm:

I have the other side ready for the new plants. :cheer: Reservoir created using GH recommendations for Early Growth. Just have to finish cleaning the air stones. The weighted air hoses are already bubbling in the reservoir. :cheesygrinsmiley::bong:

The grow area is running normally.

Still haven't made the new CO2 bucket. The plants don't seem to be complaining.

The stalks are heading to 2nd screen en mass now.:):cheer: I should have sea of stalks if they stay healthy. :cheesygrinsmiley: The first stalk crossed the 2nd screen during lights out.:cheer: As the outer perimeter stalks get tall enough, I'll try and get them through the screen to give them a little more air circulation. :hmmmm:

The reservoir next door for the Colombian Gold has a spot on 5.8-6.0 PH and is aerating nicely.:bong:

Thanks Wastei, It will be a long while yet for sure. :hmmmm: :) That's one of the reasons I like to plant the long flowering ones on the 2nd grow of the season.:hmmmm: I would probably be impatient, waiting on plants to finish if I had another grow waiting to go into the tray.:bong:

Now that the GT has a new neighbor on a veg light cycle. I'm opening the closure between grows at the morning check and closing it during the late afternoon check. So, I open the closure and turn off the AC in the GT area and share the dehumidifier. The AC on the other side is left on 24/7. Whichever side is running CO2 will run a little warmer during lights on.

The CO2 bucket is bubbling away.

The plants are looking good and continuing to reach for the light, putting on flowers as they stretch.

The grow area is running normally.

The CO2 bucket is bubbling.

The plants are continuing their upward stretch, building little buds along the way. A few stalks were wrapped with pipe cleaner and guided toward the 2nd screen as they were showing signs of laying over. Once they're through the 2nd screen they should stay put.

Hey GW I was wondering if or when were you planning on removing some of the underside and larf? CL

I'm still seeing some light on the white pvc tray cover. It's about all shaded now. :)

I'm still not 100% on doing a lot of bending at the waist.

Golden Tiger
Day 45 since flip.

The grow area is running normally.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling.

Reservoir change this morning. Repeated the last modified Early Bloom concentration as they could still be called at that flowering stage. Added 20ml KoolBloom(0-10-10). PHed to 5.8-6.2. Added same amount of CalMag+.

The plants are still looking healthy and still stretching to the light. :)

Light height was raised to 22.5"/56cm above the 2nd screen. Which puts the light about 30"/76cm above the current average canopy height. 450w dimmer setting.

The plants continue to look good and reach for the light. Lots of stalks, just have to get them through the 2nd screen maximize the light available and support the colas as they gain weight. :)

Godspeed on your recovery ❤️‍🩹 and your GT looks great 👍. CL🍀

I'm getting better by the day. :) I've had a strong appetite since I got home.:cheesygrinsmiley: The wife is a fantastic cook and has kept me satisfied. I am able to fully smoke,:cheesygrinsmiley: the bong hits go down easy and the cough doesn't hurt anymore. :bong: Thank goodness I've got the plants to occupy me, otherwise, I mostly just piddle around the house.
The plants are looking good. I think I will have a 2nd screen full.:cheesygrinsmiley::bong:

Day 47 since flip.

The grow area is running normally.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling going on a week now.

The plants are looking good. Still reaching for the light and more stalks are getting closer to the 2nd screen.

The reservoir PH is staying in the desired range with bi-daily top ups and small adjustments.

The grow area is running normally.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling nicely on day 8. :)

The plants are looking good. Got a little tip burn on some but it hasn't changed in many days so I would say I am at the edge of max nitrogen. Still way below normal amounts for this stage of growth. The future plan is to go backward a touch on nitrogen on the next reservoir change and start slowly adding increasing K&P as the flowers grow.
