Going Green With JCTJ: Perpetual Autos With A Photo Here & There

Howdy folks!

Today was an eventful day. Tasty food, end of one and life for 2 others :yahoo:

The Mrs. and I brined a turkey this past weekend and enjoyed a tasty meal yesterday. Today was soup and harvest day, I wasted no time time trimming up the Strawberry Cheesecake in between tending to the soup.

After finishing my harvest and plopping all the buds into paper bags (7) ranging from 33g to 40g each, I noticed I had two new babies.

Well...there's eventful and then there's eventful!

Congrats on the harvest (frosty!), the soup (I am now very hungry for some reason), and the two new sprouts (who doesn't love babies)!

Well done JC...top that!
Nice harvest JC... can you not get through one update without making us salivate? Frosty buds and turkey soup. A Canadian tradition!

Thanks for the love fellas. The soup was definitely the best one out of the last handful I've made, it won't last too long here :). I'll have to start posting more food updates come bbq season. Especially now that I will have a full outdoor grow to update this year as well. Really looking forward to it... Missing the backyard like crazy and it's only the middle of January :nomo:

Auto Zkittlez #1 is still extremely healthy. The buds aren't getting any major width but what can you do :). Still making for tall stacked colas!

I'm going to pull these ladies out today and check trichomes to see where things are at. We're nearing 12 weeks from seed as of tomorrow, so I better start paying a little more attention.

Zkittlez 2 shown a little on the left has wider more densely packed buds, big difference between the two in how the are developing late in flower.

I cant believe its a auto....

After a few quick weighs of the brown paper bags I decided to toss the Strawberry Cheesecake into jars. Since doing that this morning, the jars have settled out to 62% and 64% so far, which I am happy with. Hooray for the start of the cure. My grow conditions for some reason didn't produce the most tight/dense nugs on this plant but they are frosty and smell great. Can't wait for a taste :)

No weights yet but I figure just over 2oz on this one, I'll weigh up in the near future

Edit: Now 64% and 65%, perfect

Dense or not, they're crazy frosty! And as long as the weight is good, a little fluff isn't a bad thing :).

Still does the trick, that's what counts! For how dead simple this grow has been, I am loving it.

:thanks:

Zkittlez aren't far behind, they should be fun to chop soon

Congrats on some lovely nugs in the jars! Waiting on the zkittles....

Beautiful trim job on the SC, JC. :welldone:On the harvest!
Loving the photos.

Thank you for the kind words DD! :thumb: I'll do my best to keep up with posting lots of photos. Cheers!

Zkittlez 1 and 2 hanging out. #3 (not pictured) surprisingly still came back to produce some stacked buds despite being on a very small scale in comparison to the big two. I'm anxiously waiting to see which one will be coming down first. It won't be very long now.

In other news, a nice 2500g pack of Mega Crop showed up today after almost finishing the first 500g. To think that I only used what was at the time a $10 bag of nutrients shipped to my door for an entire seed to harvest grow is something special. At the end of last summer I had ordered a 9.9kg bag but ended up cancelling it to give 500g a try first. Truthfully, I should have bought the 9.9 bag this time but this makes storage a little easier for me right now. Plus, this should last me the year lol.

Sunday funday.

Ross Bobart himself stopped in to check out a nug of the Auto Strawberry Cheesecake. After a few shots in different lighting, he gave the Goin' Green® stamp of approval

The last picture is my vote for your NOTM submission.

I had to look up Ross Bobart.

I really need to start submitting for the 420 Mag contests, I always seem to forget and end up only voting instead of participating lol.
