Glimmer Grows More Autos - Blue Dream - Amnesia & Dark Devil In Coco With MH/LEDs

Happy Monday afternoon!

I just vaped a bowl of my first crop, the Early Miss. It's been curing for less than a week and it's really coming along. The first time I vaped, a few days ago, there was a nice smell to the bud but almost no flavour to the draw - gave a nice buzz. This time I'm getting lemon and pepper on my first couple of inhales (goes totally bland after that, unless I stir the bowl) in addition to increasingly more complex scents in the bud. I used a fluffy little nug that seems quite dry but is still super green inside :) Getting me nice and buzzed, too! Same tingling and relaxation/stimulus as from the canna butter but quicker and more controllable. Still can't get over that I'm vaping something I grew :) That puts a smile on my face all on its own! Thank you for making it possible!

Oh that looks so delicious!!

That's a job well done!!! Expect those terpines to get even more intense as the cure progresses!

That's what I'm hoping for! God, I love smells, I go nuts for smells and this hobby is blowing my mind :) The possibilities! Woo hoo!

I've been thinking about approaches to growing: I've come to the conclusion that what I most want is to grow a huge variety of strains from the oldest landraces, both indica and sativa to the most recent hybrids. I want to smell and taste them all. I love variety -- when I order meds I always try a few new things because I find it exciting. I have my go-to strains (that's why I'm growing Blue Dream -- I know I love it) but given the option, I would rather have a few single grams of a variety of strains than a whole whack of one.

So the tiny pots option appeals to me. Not great in terms of yield, and not appealing for people who have to provide a certain medical strain for someone they love or for those growing commercially. I think with legalization, there's going to be a huge growth in interest in pot in the middle-class luxury market -- those people who collect wine and heirloom tomatoes and hand-made pottery and surround themselves with lovely things. Put together a Rosedale/Yorkville kind of pot growing kit -- compact, organic, self contained, with miniaturized auto strains with nice colours and flavours, and there will be a time when everyone is going to be growing these in their balcony boxes and bragging about them after dinner:)

Heh heh heh -- I am MUCH more stoned than I thought I was :)

No your right though.... there will be bars in all of our areas that have a cellar at a certain temp and rh and bud that has been organically grown and perfectly cured for a year or so with the most amazing g smells and taste in the world.... and people who before it was legal that were striking down bills and law to legalize will be hiding there and hitting their vape with their pinky held high lol

 Precisely! There will be wealthy canna-snobs just like there are wine snobs and cigar snobs. (I suppose there are canna snobs already eh?) Ah well, there will be room for us all -- it's a big, smoke-filled tent and canna-folk tend to be friendly and mellow :)

That's the perfect plan! If rather have just nuglets of a bunch too rather then a large crate of one kind.

Oh the variety! It's a beautiful thing!

Yes! To that end I just ordered a few seeds from True North -- some Caramel Cream by Sweet Seeds (the auto version of their Cream Caramel -- super pretty!) and an RQS Bubble Kush auto. MORE VARIETY is the cry :)

Small pots are fun but need tending to daily they just don't hold enough water to suffice a growing plant and HAVE to be watered daily

And that's only a 1 quart though.... certainly slightly larger will still fit a bunch in a 3x3 and get a little bigger

THAT's the photo I fell in love with. I can see that they're a lot of work, but we dilettantes have time on our hands, after all :) I WANT TO PLANT IT IN A GINGER JAR AND USE IT AS A CENTREPIECE!

Sorry, I'm shouting again :)

Weedman....That would be heroine. I made that mistake a few posts back. :)
Heroine: a woman of distinguished courage or ability, admired for her brave deeds and noble qualities for all things cannabis.
