GDB's Express Grow

Hello growers.

I said yesterday that I would post a pic of the plants at lights-on last night. However, early in the evening I tried one of my new gummies and soon figured out that with regard to getting anything done later that night, all bets were off! :Rasta:

As it turned out, I completely forgot I had to water the plants and I fell asleep close to 10pm (lights-on). When I woke up around half-past midnight, I grudgingly made my way to the tent and watered the girls. ("Damn, this light is too friggin' bright!") However, I was in no mood to take a pic.

So here they are this morning. I have to giggle when I look at them because they're such a sad, floppy looking bunch. But when I view them through my tunnel-vision I see a bunch of goodies! :Rasta:

And this is what I meant when I referred to the Grape Ape evolving into my easiest trim ever:

I'd estimate that more than half of her fan leaves have already left the building!

On another note, I'd like to thank all who have followed along here. And def huge thanks for the support in the JOTM contest. I will be long-grateful for that honor (and a second friggin' T-Shirt!).:thanks:

Finally, I have big reveal upcoming soon! It's supposed to get here by Friday so I'm trying to keep my lips sealed until then. Don't touch that dial! :Rasta:

Thanks for looking in.

Peace.

Congrats on winning May's GJOTM, GDB! And, thank you for the great gummy tutorial. I find using a canning funnel is a good way to avoid spills. I have this one.

Congratulations on JOTM GDB, very well deserved. It's been a fun ride, can't wait to see the finish ;)

Hello weedmeisters.

I'm sitting at home relaxing after a rather stressful morning/afternoon shuttling my mom to a doctor's appointment. Because of my mom's advanced age and cantankerous nature, these visits are more than just "rides." Her doctors always want to talk to me after they see her, and I must take notes and follow-up as appropriate. It's a labor of love, but a "labor" nonetheless.

But that's not what I'm here to talk about. (Just a bit of background.) That's over for today. And I'm at home trying to normalize.

So I grabbed the little bud I cut off of the Grape Ape last week. It was dry enough to smoke so I loaded a bowlful of my @PerfectPipe.

For a fresh cut she's a smooth and tasty pull! And though I usually have problems discerning specific tastes, I do pick up a hint of grape!:yummy:

This one might arrive in the top-ten on the Weedboard Chart!

Peace.

Thank you Carmen! I'm happy to have provided a clear explanation of anything!:Rasta:

Thanks Budman!

You can't wait to see the finish? Imagine how I feel! :laughtwo:

I'm getting a second T-shirt, you know!
Surely you'll gift the second one to Mrs GDB for all her help and support with your weed growing..
Why, I'll bet she's just as supportive as Mrs C..

Don't have to. She already took the first one! :laughtwo:

From this point forward, all updates on the Express Grow will appear in a separate journal that is located here. This is in response to new restrictions imposed on who can be nominated for JOTM. I ain't gonna lie, I'd absolutely love to win JOTM one day.
I'm just being shamelessly honest (as always). I want to retain at least the opportunity to be nominated for the JOTM.
Congratulations on a well-deserved win, just as you predicted!

Oh, and now that I've caught up, that Easy Weed is 1-2-18 and things move slowly in soil, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the cause of the burning leaves. Added to 5.5g of MC it puts your potassium pretty high.

Good on ya for schlepping your mom, and great work on the gummies! I'm with Carcass with the squirt bottle recommendation. Much easier than pouring, though a hand towel wrapped around it is good for the heat.

I hope it was, because absent the critters I thought I could get to some nice looking finishers. Funny, though, it didn't seem to bother the Pinkman Goo at all.

When I reach his age I'll probably need such an aid. Right now I still have steady hands! :laughtwo:
