Does that help?

Hello growers.

So my new 2x2 tent arrived yesterday and is up and running. You can see it here GDB's Auto Array if interested.

The 2 TDs have the tent to themselves now. I hope they take full advantage of all the extra room!

I flipped the lights on them today -- on day 60 for both plants.

Per earlier advice I received from @InTheShed and @ChefDGreen , I tried to take them down to eight main branches before I flipped them. However, I could not get down to 8 branches. I can't explain why, other than to say I just couldn't make myself chop them that much. :Rasta: I tried though, fellas! (BWT, I also took a few branches for clones.)

I had previously topped the plants (twice) and having been gently bending them as much as possible. I've also given the undergrowth and good cleaning out.

Their remains:

In the tent, probably wondering, "Hey, where did everybody go?!"

Go girls! I can't wait to see this "photo-finish." :Rasta:

Later!

Oh yeah my friend. Those girls are looking excellent!

once you see the button top flowers starting on each branch, you can be sure the stretch is over/nearly over. At that point I would advise that you put something under the shorter one if it hasn’t caught up.

Also they’ve got tons of space, so you can go ahead and push the taller ones’ branches outwards as she comes up. Maybe even give súper cropping a try if you get a couple branches that break away from the pack.

Doing more than 8 branches is fine. The idea is to be selective so that every branch you take into flower is thick, healthy, robust.. they just make much bigger flowers than the dinky little side branches

They never say "where did everyone go," they say "see ya suckers!"

They look great, and all credit for the 8 branch training idea to Chef.

If you top more than once you probably wouldn't go that route anyway!
Ha! "See ya, wouldn't want to be ya."

Thanks, Chef. They definitely have plenty of room to stretch every way possible. I will elevate the shorty as needed to try and keep the light distance the same for both. As for manipulating the growth direction, hell, I know I won't be able to keep my hands off of them! :Rasta:

Cannabis and guitars!

Here's my work shop, I wish I could set it up for a grow space but it's a rental.

I don't play any of them at a professional level, I know more on the guitar than the others, but I enjoy playing the kit to some music.

Nice, Canuck!

I grew up playing the violin and coudn't wait to put it down (now I wish I hadn't). Now I just mess around on guitars and keyboards. I've always wanted a drum set but Ms. Grand Daddy ain't having it and she's got the full support of the neighbors. My son has a djembe drum that I beat on when I want to get real noisy! :Rasta:

Hay Canuck that's a great set up. I see you have everything you need to start a band, A Guitar, a bass and a drum set Very nice, Do you play all of them or do you have buddies come over and play some music. You Must have an understanding wife when it comes time for band practice. I know my wife would throw me and the instruments out to the curb

I play the guitar more than the rest, I only jam with the kit to music and I'm trying to learn more on the bass. This work shop is a block away from my home but I did have the guitars and an electronic kit at home before and the wife is very understanding, she enjoys music as much as I do.

Sounds like my first wife (which happens to be my current one).
