Gator Uncaged

Been busier'n a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest. Got trays & racks of drying bud, new transplants settling into the 12/12 thing, and much carpentry yet to do. UPS & FedEx know me too well. Summer is coming so AC(s) are on the list and CO2 will be supplied in a soon to be sealed grow: Mo Money.
I'm delivering 3 Zs weekly and 4 Zs weekly promised in 6 weeks, when port/starboard SoGs are working. Those will demo the JDL ballast well, one-on-one with Digital Greenhouse. JDL 600 obviouly lights the bulb at 100% but like Spinal Tap's amps, this one is "louder, it goes to 11". My vert side is too small for 600, but I'll manage this one last run. Pix later...
The buds in processing are likely 20 to 24 Zs of sweet&funky PE nugs, earning expected respect at the market. Final tally when I get it.

Most of the new strain plants are topped, slated for cutting donations for spots in perpetual SoG trays. Huge natural seed-grown plants will mostly happen in a future grow, but where I live presents problems of scale. SoG can fit in.

You do sound like one busy Gator!

Are you saying the JDL ballast burns the bulb brighter than the other at 100% setting? That'd be interesting. Or are you doing an overdrive mode? Sorry I'm medicated and might have missed something. Your last pictures look great - everything looking super happy and green. Sounds like you have a nice rotation/rhythm going with your SOG. Gotta like it when things are in a groove.

I'm loving the coir in my grow room so much - thanks for being one of those who inspired me to give it a shot by showing how happy they can be in their hairy homes... ;)

Unfortunately most people on here have probably gotten way to familiar with the UPS guy. He doesn't just drop shit on my steps anymore. He'll ring the bell and hold the package till I get to the door. Maybe he's figured something out and trying to get on my good side...
sure sounds like it, im lucky one of the upz doodes here i went to school with,i know for a fact hes a "greenman" so we reminisce and he gets coffee from me, he even hooks me up with that good upz packing tape, and boxes , in trade for the java,(he claims my bean brew taste's better, and boosts him more than anywhere in town) i hope so bout the only thing i dont do myself is grow the coffee plants, off topic i know, roasting coffee surprisingly dont smell real good the way you might think,,but yeah the upz guys know me well, i buy as much stuff as i can online, saves me tons of gas $ in my gas guzzling "land yacht ":thumb:

Lucky. Here if you hear a loud bang-thump it's your package bouncing off your house onto the porch after the guy hurled it from the sidewalk.

Unless it's glass, then it's got a crashing tinkle in it too.

If I ever had someone act like you described, it would be because it was a signature required and he was new enough he hadn't bothered starting to fake people's signatures yet - or he was the D in disguise.

Home delivery service is necessary whether good, bad or ugly. My neighborhood attracts a constantly changing crew, who each immediately cash in any political capital for a transfer elsewhere.
Newbs & fuckups, :thanks:

Some present results

'Bushy' is near ready, other bush in 3 or 4 weeks.
Also in vert are 8 skinny newbs in 2 liters, which when full size,
they'll need twice daily feed from a timed pump drip line.
Yes I must yet rig the drip line, but I do have fresh parts :)
Another entry on the Dummy Do list. My cat is amused

This will be my last vert run. 'Push-pull' matching 600 watt SoGs for the summer.

Two tray start on a 49 X 2 liter SoG. Need to cut more yesterday, and
I need to assemble little bleacher stands on a table, covered with poly to drain the overflow to a bucket.
Shouldn't be so hard, but it hasn't yet built itself :hmmmm:
Maybe tomorrow? Maybe I'm sitting on a winning Mega ticket

hey there gator great post ya got here. took me several days to get through it. thanks to you i finally got around to doing some research on " going vertical" and i may convert when i flip for flowering in a couple weeks.

Nice Gator,

How is your wet grams per Watt result?

I've only once weighed wet buds, the 9" 'Shorty'. She was done @6 weeks, but reaped @7.
Defoliated but left on stem, she weighed 49.8g.
Tightly manicured, dried and minus the stick: 10g grade A PE nugs.

Grams per watt is so crude, it's rude. What time period? What square footage?
SteveHman does metrics, and he too says cost per gram is a valid measure.
g/area sq is also worth noting, though time is not reconned into that.

Actually, when I assess a strain's potential for use in my valuable grow space,
I consider dollar return potential per sq ft. Not all nugs are equal.
My costs are near theoretical minimum, and that's a propa goal in business.

nice nugs, gator. where did u get that fan that lays flat on the floor? i must be the only person on these forums that can't find 'em. and what kind do i ask for? thanx

I'm going to stick my neck out (yeah, right!), and declare that the related factors called equalibrium and limits are of primo importance for not only cannabis horticulture, but in all chemistry, geology, and marriages.
Enough of anything can be too much if something else is out of balance.

For instance: if you close your grow and add CO2, you must raise temperature to take advantage. Humidity control becomes more critical. Circulation too, must be neither too little nor too much. When all is @equalibrium, the music begins and it's time to dance, and

Rock 'n Roll never forgets :theband:
