Gator Uncaged

Having this good stuff on hand beats just knowing where to get it :morenutes:

Though ripening nicely, extra space shows poor planning

RH has been below 30 today, thick dense buds are less likely to rot

Some previous runs showed me no further growth at this date, but not this.
Swelling seems to accelerate, hooray :cheer:
w00t! Grats on the late growth! Go, Gator- Go, Gator- It's ya bir-........umm.. I'll stop.

Propa Gator said:
I read the first lines of my last post: "I don't like seeds, blah blah yada yada".
For production, cuttings rule and will continue to, but...

How can i deny the pleasure I derive from the scent and sweet promise from a different kind?
Despite having full measure of Indicas that I treasure, when tropical Sativa calls, new love strikes pure.
Seeds can live for years, and help to dry my tears after Mayhem takes my case and destroys my prize.
At least if I've a stash of seeds packed to last, healthy new growth again can please my ass.

Shorty looks so much better to my eyes, but here:

The larger plants are bigger but not better, and the bush has no bananners. I'm happy :peace:

Which strain is shorty? Looks like an auto-flower, I didn't think you had any if these in the swamp ;)

Correct Soniq, no autoflowers in my neck of the swamp; everything flowering now is PE.

Besides $ each, this is why I shy from seeds: nine days from sowing

PE cuttings @ nine days, rooted & new top growth starting

These sprouts are slated to donate cuttings for production, but are flimsy & fragile right now, bleah. Maybe my old head will still have a few hairs on it when they're big enough to use. Patience? Fugedaboutit

Yes GodSpeed, floret clusters are totally covered with sticky, odorific trichomes.
If my camera & photo skills were a lot better, macro shots could be as good as I've ever seen. Crude ventilation has not undermined benefits from 600 HPS & BPN daily. Too, PE is a very fine strain. Many 'generations' have not degraded my pheno in 2.5 years, which shoots down another old bullshit myth.

Doode, I haven't had such a propa crop since I ran out of high dollar H&G Cocos with all their extremely costly additives. Advanced may cost more yet, but I won't be buying nor trying any of that happy horseshit, evah.
"Big Buds" :hmmmm: Check, got 'em good enough to make a spendthrift Connoiseur using fool drool & drop.

Seriously, the only reason I decided to seed run this time was because they're AF plants, and those seeds are REALLY pricey. If this Brazilian Amazonia works out nicely, I'll be doing cuts over and over and over, ad infinitum.

Great job, Gator.

I definately see the value of seeds, especially for introducing new strains and breeding, but I tend to agree 420% with Propa on cloning over seeds.

If you're gonna spend something like $12/seed, with cloning, you can get dozens or even hundreds/thousands of plants from that $12 investment vs. only one and, it will allow you to preserve your best strains.

Single Seeds(or your fav. seedbank) + Bonsai Mother's Method + K.I.S.S. = Cheap Monetary Investment with Infinite Returns

Pretty much what I'm gambling on! ;)

I don't call it a gamble when the odds are in my favor
Single seeds fill thrifty needs to find that special flavor
One P.E. seed came to me a freebie, or I'd not have her
Like winning a free lottery, success I now can savor

honestly, that takes out the funn if all the odds are in your favor. :[
its like trying to learn, without making mistakes.

Have you ever barked your shin Mr Smith, on something unforgiving? Then before you reach down to rub it, you look around to make sure nobody was watching.
If anybody was, I would try to smile and walk on like I was fine.
Hurt myself, moi??? Hell no! Do I look that stupid?

Years ago, a fellow Ironworker had a prosthetic leg from his knee. He was hurrying up some steel stairs on a job when he stumbled and drove his 'shin' onto a step. He immediately continued scrambling up, showing any uninformed observer that he was one tough muchacho.
Strangely, he didn't drink :hmmmm:

yup thats just plain awesome! a freebie lol becomes gators choice of choices, ,never got a free seed from "retail" sources, but when you do the math it is not at all expensive unless they all are duds, for your pe whats the break down from nothing?? lol

There's two main ways to learn: from your own mistakes or from others.
Letting others trip & take a fall for you is obviously smarter, and
Messing up to learn runs the risk of not learning from it...

How humiliating would that be?
amen :thanks:
i really never felt like i had to go make all my own mistakes, if i can learn from others why the hell not!!

Wow The more journals I read the more creative I become. I would like to ask you blesing in using your plant around light setup with some customizing of coarse
:thanks:
I will be subbing up dude. you got some knowledge to share
as i have been learning about it today its a popular grow style called vert, sometimes a vert scrog/cage propa gator is quite knowledgeable on the subject:thumb:

Are you kidding? Do you think that I dreamed that scheme up, all by myself?
Like any right-thinking engineer, I stole every aspect I used. I may have put those elements together in my own style, but certainly all is free access. I am flattered anytime anyone emulates my stolen ideas :peace:

Look everywhere on this site, and you'll find plenty of sweet solutions for growing, displayed. Cherry pick your faves, build it and be proud to call it your own. It's what everyone does, lol.

Want some cage fencing? Plenty around the side of the house, trying to attract a scrapper bold enough to trespass onto my yard :)
