Gardening With Ganesha

Seems i am still having some issues with uploading pictures i have emailed the moderators for more help so hope soon i will be back online, i had a problem with my computer this morning and had to back up do a complete format and reinstall my OS and its taken 5 hours to get everything installed and how it should be, for some reason firefox is still glitching and i am having to use Internet explorer :(

The girls are doing great with nice healthy growth, Black Jack the late riser has been struggling to keep up and doesn't look like she will be producing much to rave about, they were all potted up into 1.5Litre pots before going in to there pots for flower and there seems to be no sign of stress, there are all still only being fed a light mix around 0.4 EC once they have rotted there pots a little better i will put this up abit.

I have also started to germinate another 1 of each strain in the hope i get a nice strong Black Jack, these will be exactly 4 weeks behind the originals so i will have dual harvest 4 weeks apart, nice to spread the work out!

Sorry again for no pictures but i don't like posting from an alternative source as i don't fully understand the rules on this, i'm hoping everything is back to normal tomorrow!

Hi Godspeed -

I had the same issue with photos and sent a message as well -- must be a site issue. Hope your Blackjack catches up for you. Have a great weekend! :thumb:

Update I

Garden is moving along as planned with all the girls being healthy, humidity has been up and down for the last week with all the snow we have has the heating has been cranked up causing humidity to go a bit wild, the leaf fringes on their fans have been pointing up a bit but as growth is great Im not at all worried about this, i have 3 mothers sharing this cab and they are loving it and believe when the sweets have established a better root structure they will take off.

There have been no problems this far using Coco watering is still every other day with the light soak solution, i will be giving the girls another 2 weeks before topping and at this point will up there feeding dose slightly if signs of hunger are visible, PH has been consistent and is never out of whack just kicking myself its taken 3 years before trying coco and think this will now be my primary medium from now on. The T5's are doing an amazing job here i was skeptical at first that they would be sufficient to do the job (mothers as well) and they have blown all expectations out of the water giving me some great growth, with the low heat output the temps are easily manageable and to be honest there hasn't been much tinkering at all to get the temps optimum.

The pots were requiring watering daily and Sweet cheese twice daily so i have potted them up, Black Jacks root structure was very undeveloped i went ahead and potted her up any ways and will take extra care with here over the next few weeks, Sweet Cheese and Cream Caramel's root structure are very strong and fresh white, They would make some ideal mothers and are going to perform great once in flower.

I have been seeing some great results from the Plant Magic and coco, Black Jack is seriously slacking behind the other two girls with her root structure and top growth being very minimal, maybe it was a runty seed but she will not be strong enough to produce a huge yeild. Sweet cheese has blown all expectations and i am VERY impressed with these genetics growth has been so fast and they are not far from taking over my mothers in soil, i guess this is down to the medium/nutrients and environment as well as the genetics. Sweet cheese and Black just will be getting topped in a few days time hopefully this will promote more lateral growth to bushing these girls up a bit, all the girls are still on a the soak solution around 0.4 EC once they have settled into there new pots i will up the strength a little bit.

♠Three for germination♠

20120218_204608.jpg

From the beginning Black jack was a late riser and has struggled to keep up with the others, as you can see from the pictures above i doubt she will be a huge producer, i will not kill her she will go into flower just like the others but i would like to get a nice strong black jack to show case in my journal and of course smoke ☺☻

Last night i prepared some materials and get another one of each of the sweets in to germination, these are going to be exactly 4 weeks behind the original 3 and as they have grow pretty fast, looks like we will be having a dual harvest... I cant wait!

Hey Buddy glad you are joining me on this little grow, i wanted to keep this super simple as this is my first coco grow, i didn't want to over complicate things so i decided to select 1 additive for veg and 1 for flower. Why Hammer head well my first grow was an epic fail BUT i actually got some alright smoke and a fair amount, i think hammer head was a big contributor to this, but for some reason i never used it again and i have 3/4 of a bottle sat here do you think a 3 year old bottle of hammer head will be usable ?

Thanks for the link iv tried a few different boosters and will try and get hold of some of this. :high-five:

:thanks:

Sweet Cheese has amazed me with here beautiful growth and is miles in front of the others showing lots of node growth already, normally she would be going into flower now. Cream Caramel seems very happy and healthy with node growth just kicking off both have filled there new pots with roots already, soon to be potted up then into flower. Black Jack has been struggling and is starting to show signs of nitrogen deficiency, i am going to give her a good flush and a dose of nitrogen to get her back on her feet, she is only just showing signs of node growth.

The germination of the 3 sweet
Both cream caramel and sweet cheese have popped there shells and are on to there first set of spikes, black jack however has not shown any signs of opening up i'm starting to think this might of been a duff batch so im going to drop the last one to see what happens.

Sweet cheese has impressed me so much ill be taking some cuttings to use as mothers for the sea of green, im going to give them all another week then pot up give them a few days to get over the transplant and put them in flower.

Bit disappointed about the Black Jacks one struggled to get out of the shell and this one hasn't even attempted to get out, this last one is going straight into a small pot of coco coir all tho i never have any problems with germination these little fuckers are giving me the run around!

:peace::Love:

They're off to a great start, Brother! :welldone:
Sorry to hear the BlackJack seeds are giving you germination problems. Hopefully you'll get at least one good seedling you can clone later! :goodluck:
