Ganesha's Tent

More chonkers, although it's actually very hard to get a perspective.. the right bud totally dwarfs the lighter it's longer and I would need to stack three lighters to match the thickness but that somehow doesn't really come actross.

Rejoice the Lemon Haze Auto decided to play along.. few weeks behind the others lets see how quickly she catches up.. as the others really were doing nothing for two weeks in a little pot under a weak red & blue light and only really started to grow last week when I transplanted and put them straight under the Mars Hydro.
She'll be starting in final pot with full light access so I don't think she'll be lagging by a lot. mmm lemon
Must say the Amnesia also has very citrusy notes.

See them pots Bill? I've only left a millimeter or 2 otherwise water just runs over it, this will indeed also require very gentle and slow watering, even more so than I was already doing.

Temperature is at 28°c, humidity at 54%
They are only going to get ph'd water with Hesi Powerzyme and then go straight into flowering nutes when they have started as the soil is pre-fertilised so that should be plenty for the growth cycle, and then like the last time finish with just the PK, as that seemed to work quite well thanks for the tip.

I put the big 12" extra fan in the tent twice a day for an hour of heavy winds..
IMG_2745.JPG

I think it's working as this is already looking pretty thicc for just a couple of inches of plant.
bending this bit won't be an option anymore as it's rock solid.
Also first time I put in the fan the plants were swaying and flapping about, next time I put the fan in they stayed put and just the leaves rustled and flapped the core stayed stable.. amazing how quick they respond to stimuli.

The bendy clips I bought are a bit useless.. I just tried if I could bend a top leave left and the lower branch right so they don't overhang, but the plant overrides them in half an hour like they aren't there so they just make an S curve.
Maybe try at a later stage when they aren't growing anymore
but there's risk of snapping, so maybe I just need to leave things alone before I mess something up again.
They've got perfect temperature, humidity is ok, they got nutrients, plenty of light and soil.. so just influence them with fanning.. the least hands on & natural form of LST.. and hope they keep growing well and chonky.

They may be a little short for clip-type LST - you might just try a string or tie and lean one over a bit. The next day, lean it a little more. Usually I use ties to bend first and as the plant ages use the LST clips on the branches when they get longer. You are going to end up with an "S"-pattern. Can't stop those "energizer bunnies". Once in a while you are gonna break a stem or branch. Then we call our mistake HST. LOL!

No kidding there, I guillotined two main buds the last time around.. and although one bud recovered there are some seeds in the buds.. so hence I'm thinking just hands off and go for a low low stress grow so none of that occurs. Although I initially wanted to pull them flat.
But when plants just grow like they would in good circumstance you get a nice plant with pretty flowers. I'll probably be harvesting again in a couple of weeks as autos are soo quick.
I'm just going to try to keep them bushy and stocky through environmental controls : )

The Girl Scout is praying to Mars the god of War euhm no light!

The light is still at a safe 50cm from the plants I'm going to let them grow into it now, I'm misting a lot with a very fine mushroom mister and distilled water, which gets absorbed or evaporates quickly.
The little one still needs to find it's groove but it's almost getting there.. once the next layer is there the stem should be firming up.

Actually ever since I got the diatomaceous powder to quickly attack any gnats, the grows have been going quite well.
I've grown over one full year now in the tent and it stays pretty much in optimal range throughout the year and changing to the SP-150 only made the situation more stable since it's just a little less hot than the TS-1000 and better spread out.
The pots are well ventilated. The tent is well ventilated, reflectivity seems to be fine.
The plants seem to always grow fast & vigorous, and the SP-150 light delivered some serious big buds in its first go, so that's fine.
The Hesi nutrients seem to work fine, Don't know what else I can do... I might need to order a new starter kit soon and get a replenish they also include a booster and root complex and vitamins, I'm not using those now.

When these are finished i'll make a grid and make a par map measuring with the photone app. then I can see the zones in the tent.

The thickening has started now the bottom half should quickly follow suit. She didn't get pampered seedling treatment though she got the exposure the rest of em had.

Also flowering kinda has started with the rest as pistils are showing up and the bud sites get a bit more yellowgreenish I kinda hampered myself sprouting them in little pots as there was almost no growth for over two weeks in those.
Plants would have been double in size before showing signs of flowering if I started them right.
This little one now has so much bigger first leaves than the ones started in the little pots. So she might do well but I kinda suspect she'll also be quick to shoot into flower as she'll be surrounded by budding plants.

At least that's what I think what was happening when I was mixing old and young autos.. when you start them off right and all the same you can get 4-5 weeks of growth out of them but mixing them the younger ones would start showing signs at a way earlier stage.. I put it down to peer pressure : )
IMG_2753.JPG

Compared to post #131 which was yesterday, quite the difference.. extra top layer and branches being pushed out from under the leaves into the lights.. yesterday top right kinda still fit into the circle footprint of the pot now it's got leaves hanging over on all sides.. need a little timelapser to strap in the tent, that would be fun seeing them grow.
Cause now it's like they grow when you look away : )

Put the Girl Scout in the corner, she's happy praying over there, so the other gets a bit more fan exposure.
They are pretty much all praying just with water & powerzyme.
All nice green, no yellow tips! although when I give the first flowering nutes those probably will quickly appear.
I'm gonna need to run the exhaust more as humidity has increased massively

I finally bit the bullet... change things up.. 3 feminized.
Channel + one of my favourite strains it's a Big Bud & Skunk combo.
Outside turns easily into a big plant for a kilo of dry buds, she has a short bloom period.
Indoor she scrogs and tops very easily.
The flavour is amazing, comments were along the lines of that couldn't smell and taste any more than weed if it wanted to.
I put that down to the Skunk triggering peoples memories from the 80's & 90's.
And the hash is something else though, then an extra spiced fragrance is extra prominent. It's hard to describe a bit peppery or clove like but not harsh at all just fresh.

The Lemon Haze Auto will be the last to harvest so as soon as I have 3 pots available I'm gonna start the Channel+
Currently I'm just shoving 4 autos under the light and resulting in 4 mains, and that process is quick and repeatable.. the past couple of grows all look very similar.
But I figure, with three femis, grow them a month top them twice and I got 12 big buds If I mainline them right, top once more and that becomes 36 and then apply the scrognet.. but with the pot size I have I'm not sure I want to go too big or too long.
Just treat them like auto sized but try to get several big buds per plant.

"diatomaceous powder" - I use it too, works wonders to keep the bugs out. ONLY use the FOOD GRADE product though.

Yeah LLBestgo put me onto it, and it works indeed, last grow I used it once as there were some gnats flying around, just a few puffs on the soil and they be gone soon.
Don't think I have the foodgrade though, got pure natural product which they do say is not harmful ingesting (unless by breathing in) but the application is mainly advertised towards chickens.
But it's not like I spray it over the plants, I put a small puff on the soil and maybe a small puff on the tentfloor in the corner where gnats often congregate.

Oh no femis... I've just realised what I've done.. that means 12 hours of light.. I was already complaining with the 18/6 that it takes two hours longer before I can look at the plants.
Also now I'm wondering if the SP-150 will be sufficient... as this now kinda works as I have long lighting times which provide plenty of energy to the leaves and I can keep the lamp pretty high above the plants and get good coverage that way.
But with non autos and just 12 hrs I'm probably have to gonna move in a bit closer which screws with cover a bit.
