G-1-3 Grows Strawberry Cough And Panama

Ya I made that mistake on my last grow towards the end by pushing a little extra cal. My goal is to keep them above 16, but 20 is well above what I was expecting lol. Guess my soil cooking worked?
Well it's only a 20, but I suppose.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I do love having one giant forearm... May even get an ⚓ tattoo like Popeye hahaha
No really.... I got one big arm from brixing... honest....🤣🤣🤣

Haha ya marriage Brixing is what did it to me...

I'm really interested to get to Brix that Panama, visually she just looks so vibrant and healthy, slightly praying and fuzzy feeling.

Hmm I think I read through your post earlier and it said your doing organic outside? The soil looks pretty wet in that picture and she's in pretty bright sunlight. She may be over watered and getting bleached. What do you think @Gee64 ? I don't have any outdoor experience.

It looks like maybe it got sunburned or else got fertilizer on it. Did it perhaps get sprayed with something in the bright sun?

Thank you so much, I have had it in the direct sun during the day and at night I take it in side. I water every couple of days. It all started this morning when the leafs started to turn yellow. Can I do anything to save it

I'm not sure if it will live but they are quite tough plants so it's worth a try. Make sure it's pot doesn't get too hot by trying to keep the pot out of the direct sun. That black plastic will get really hot and hurt the roots, and never get the plant wet while it's in the sun. Was yesterday the 1st real hot sunny day that it saw?

Hopefully it will make it. I have put the pot in another larger pot so it doesn't get hot from the outside for now it might work?
I won't get it wet now I did yesterday while it was in the sun, yesterday was the first really hot day. I have made this table thing for them now hopefully it will work

Babies are delicate. Getting their leaves wet in hot sun can really hurt them. They are tough tho. She will likely pull thru.

The pot in a pot trick works well and so does standing a board up against the pot.

Anything to keep the sun from over heating her small pot.

It's a pretty handy tool in organics. That line becomes more or less fuzzy based on the calcium in the leaf. The number represents the amount of sugars in its "sap" and the higher the healthier. I think @Gee64 said you could still use the refractometer for calcium content even with salt nutes but the Brix number will usually be lower. Ever since I have tracked my plants this way I haven't had a calcium deficiency.
Ahhh I remember seeing this!!

Well I’m going to have to bring the refractometer inside as it’s out the garage, nice and frosty, and give this a try this weekend :)

Looks good man! You planning on adding in more soil as they get bigger?

Ya as I top dress and add EWC casting it may start filling up. My last grow filled up above the holes and water would run out of them lol. I also didn't plan on as much settling as I got but I have more soil cooking so I can always top up.

I've had a migraine for well over 14 hours, probably the worst one I've had in years, but I figured I'd update on my plan for the girls this week while I'm having a smoke.

I checked in on the girls to make sure they aren't dead and they look extremely happy. Lowering the light intensity a little seemed to let them relax and flatten out their leaves. I'll get snapshots of them tomorrow once I get rid of this damn headache.

The plan is to top dress this week as the girls are averaging about a 5 on the water stick and will need to be watered. I'm going to use a straight 4-4-4 this first feeding and then move to a 2 to 1 ratio of 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 in subsequent veg feedings. The week before I flip to 12/12 I will switch to the reverse feeding schedule and transition to a 2-8-4 only flower feeding.

Also Ms. Panama is getting topped and quadlined up this week, she's ready now but I'm going to need steady hands to do it.

This Purple Haze topped with White Widow bubble hash is taking the edge off and the buzz is setting in. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Thanks buddy, it was all cleared up by 130 in the morning so it didn't make work miserable today lol. The Haze and hash combo made me sleep through most of it haha so that's pretty solid.

Strawberry Cough quadline engaged 🚀

Also disregard the diatomaceous Earth these damn gnats are annoying me. Just trying to keep them under control until the microbes start winning.

Look at that! You didn’t fuck it up like someone I know LOL

Good work man!

Thanks man the coughs really taking off.

To quote my favorite modern painter "There are no mistakes, just happy accidents." 😂

Thank god that stuff grows like a weed because of not I'd have killed off more than I'd want to admit hahaha.
