FutRfarmers First Grow With QB's & Doc's High Brix

It’s on, Northern lights is about 20% amber I gave her water with tea. I will give her another GI along with the other girls and take her next. Looks like BB AMD Amnesia lemon will be done mid week both show ambers and are getting heavy! Had a large cola flopped over on the amnesia she’s getting really heavy

I prefer to start taking fans a week before chop to make the trim session easier. Is there a reason I should not be doing this @Duggan ?

With just 1 plant to trim, you probably don't need to do this. We're you gonna try low and slow?

Couldn’t get the mini fridge in time I’ll try next round. I’ll be doing the LSD solo but I have a feeling I’ll be doing the other 3 together. I also don’t think I’ll be washing this time, or maybe only some of every plant to compare. What is the mixture for that?

You wet trim?
Oh yes Farmers...most definitely i wet trim my branches....makes trimming easier than trimming when all the leaves have shrivelled up....they are way harder to trim when dry!I have done both ways and have been wet trimming for close to 30 years.
When you trim when they are wet....the leaves are still turgid/stiff , which allows way easier access with your scissors/clippers. Start with all the fans.....then do the stemmed leaves(the ones u can see the stem)...finally , trim off all the single bladed bud leaves......your done...hang that branch.
And Ween......why would you want to lower the brix by taking off all the fans prior to harvest....we are growing high brix produce. When u trim off all the fans ...the brix drops like a hammer......Doc has mentioned this several times.
Leave as many fans on...for as long as possible to maintain the higher brix levels we all COVET!

Wet trim it is :high-five:

Just want to add, when trimming wet or dry, do your best not to hold the flowers directly. Hold the stems, that way you lessen the chance of damage to the sweet, frosty goodness.

OK bud. I really don't take that many and it's usually the lest few days before chop. I can't imagine that's really affecting the overall quality that much but will keep it to a minimum. Thanks!
