FutRfarmers First Grow With QB's & Doc's High Brix

I think you should veg for 2-3 weeks more, fill the tent and flip. Didn't gray or someone else already suggest you could veg under the bloom light? I really don't know but seems like it may be a good transition for them.
I agree I want to fill the tent in I'll give it a try under the bigger lights. 1 question ween, I don't let the pots get 100% dry in flower do I? Also should I insert bamboo supports into the pots now before the roots fill the pot?

Hey Farmer! Yeah, I'd veg for at least 2 weeks, maybe 3, one the tent is filled and assuming you still have height to work with for the 2-3X stretch. When you flip, you're gonna do one more dry cycle and then you will water every 4-5 days, in bloom soil should be moist but not wet, it'll obviously be wet right after watering. Your probably going to feed/water next in about 7-10 days. No,need to put bamboo in now. NL may be the only one that will need it so you may want to keep, her up,front.

NL up front for sure bro thank you. And I'm hoping I have enough room for stretch, I can't put the extension in but the tent is almost 8 ft

Idk Ween, he may need to water again soon if this is correct...
I always soak the pot... 10gal pot 1.5gal water.
Otherwise, those ladies look great FutR!!
agreed, I just went upstairs to check temps and such and the soil around the edge already looks like it's drying. I didn't soak the entire 10 gallon just watered around the transplant site and a little out. I'll give them a good soaking of straight water once they are ready, followed by a heavy GE and see where I'm at. They are under a lot of power from those lights right now so I imagine running 18hrs they will drink fast

Here we go, up pot to 10 gallons with a TP I mixed .5/oz tp and 4ml of tea per gallon of water. Mixed to gallons and gave each a 1/2 gallon. Spread more around the transplant root ball area. 1 gallons were feather light. I have the lights up high I’ll lower them a little each day. 12/12 cycle. I would love to veg another week or so but don’t have a veg light for the 5x5. I will plan that for next run.

Hi Farmer,

Nice tent, plenty of room in there.

Watch the amount of tea you mix with the drenches. Above you stated you mixed 4ml per gal of water. That’s too much according to the instructions. The baseline is 2.5ml per 5 gals of drench. 2.5ml is a 1/2 teaspoon. I have not experimented too much with tea amounts, so I can not offer what too much tea will do, but I do know it is concentrated.

You can veg under that light, there won’t be any problems.

Take care

Thanks Dopey! I think my thought was 10 gallons now not 1 gallon of soil:oops: damn greenhorns:420::passitleft:, I think going forward I’m going to mix 5 gallons and see roughly what each plant will drink now. They do seem to be ok under the big lights. I will have to figure cooking temps are up to 86 with lights on. Plants seem to like it

:high-five:Hell ya ween! Daj mentioned 1.5 gallons per plant also, it's going into the note book.(wife got me a grower journal for my notes) I ordered a 5x15 trellis net, might not use it this round but at least I'll have it. I also ordered 1 of these secret jardin monkey fan. Really wishing I jumped on that vivoson deal.

Hi Farmer :passitleft:

86 is too hot for the long run when flowering cannabis, really strive for your exhaust to maintain < 80 degrees. Sometimes in the summer months mine goes over 82, and I end up having to turn off one light to get it down, which means I have to flower less plants in the summer. If I had AC this would alleviate that problem. Some people get away with higher temps and more light, because they run up to 1500 ppm of CO2.

Plants will suffer if temps get to high, especially when Buds form.

I plan on my addressing the temps before flip. I do have a floor unit a/c I can fit in the tent

Don't want to rub it in your face but the fan is pretty sweet lol. Quality construction at a decent price, if you see it again buy it!

:high-five:Haha great to hear brother. I have it in my sites I will order 2. I will get my monkey fan tomorrow I did get the pricey oscillating version, so will be cool to see how they compare. But for $50 I would rather 3 of those Vivosun! I have both my exhaust fans from them and they crank

Also ween is it to late to start some LST on the blueberry? It’s the tall one that has been out growing the others and also the one I super cropped. Will it make the plant grow more bushy? Or let more light into the lower sites, you were right about supercropping bro, those lowers deff got thick as hell and taller. Thanks again :passitleft:
