Fudo Myoo's Organic, LED Homegrown Journal

Congrats on the flip! They certainly look ready to go. :zoom:

I can see why you had to wall that in with the light bleed around the edges and bottom of the door, not to mention the little window(?) at the floor.

With smiling colors!

I think they're better than good!
Thanks Shed, so far so good. I went in last night to check and it’s pitch black in the flower room. The tarp will give me time to shop for a veg tent anyway.

Happy flip Fudu! They're aching for it! Man your Nevilles is doing so much better than mine did!
Thanks Otter, in your defense, that’s 2 for 6. And one of them is pretty weak. I sure hope a clone survives because this might be it for the Neville’s. She’s a good one though.

Day 1 of flower

The Neville’s are sure living up to their reputation, or at least one is. She’s pushing hard on the net.

I pulled the Malawi/Panama main down one more time. She’s going to get her own cob on her ride up.

This M/P/B2 is pretty cool. Looks like sativa leaves with tight internode spacing. The 4 mains ride just above the cluster in the middle, kinda neat looking. I have know idea why it’s underlining, I can’t turn it off lol.

I’m having a hard time regulating the temperature. The surface water is 80F and with the heating pad on, the bottom shoots up over 80F. If I leave it off, the bottom falls below 70F at night. I hope I don’t kill these things. Wild temp swings.
Let’s try this configuration and see if we can get in the mid 70’s.

Maybe try standing the mat on its edge and propping it vertically to get more even heat top to bottom.

Of course one side would be warmer, but with the water circulation it might not be severe.
Great idea, that’ll be the next try. I’m checking on them in an hr or so…

I think I solved the clone problem. When I moved the cloner away from the basement wall I no longer needed the heating pad. This setup keeps the temp around 71F from bottom to top. Humidity around 60%.

I’m going to let them go vertical at this point. I have plenty of room. The tops would have to stretch right up to where the light is now before I’d have to worry. Those would be huge colas. I could still pull the lights up a couple feet if need be.

Day 3 after flip

The stretch is on and it looks like Neville’s is going to take the lead. I gave them a gallon of just water and they took it with no run-off. I’m expecting them to take 1.5 day after next and then we’ll start thinking about a flower tea.
I’m going to have to hang my little Mars light in the corner and move the water out. Little Neville’s is getting pushed right out of the 5*5.
I’ve never had a healthier or easy grow as this one, knock on wood of course. Have a great day!

Not a sad leaf in the bunch! Are you going to thin under the net after stretch?
Sure am. On day 21, anything beneath the net or in a shadow is gone. How much depends on percentage but it looks like it’ll be a lot.

Day 4 after flip

They’re all growing nicely but the Neville’s is something else. I tucked her 3 tallest branches under the net to even up the canopy again. The big ones in the corner I’m letting go. That’s the weakest light so I’ll let the her grow closer.
Little Neville’s is picking up the pace a bit. Enough so to move her in the corner with her own light. She’s a cool little plant, I’m glad I kept her.

Day 5 after flip

I’m seeing what suspiciously looks like pistils on the hybrids. Maybe another day or so before we call it flower.
It’s a water day so the girls got soaked till a puddle of runoff then sucked it back up. They were thirsty. The big sativas took 1.75 gallons! 1/2tsp of Recharge for each pot.
