Fudo Myoo's Organic, LED Homegrown Journal

So today marks exactly 8 weeks since I flipped them. I started the flower count 6 days after flip so we’re in the ballpark. I’ve seen this deep purple before and thought it over cooked so I chopped her. Buds are all really dense. Even the lowers are solid little popcorn buds. I gave her a wash this time with baking soda and peroxide for the bugs and spinosad. I only sprayed the soil and bag but that crap gets everywhere.

Day 52 of flower

I’m not sure if I mentioned yet about the sip water consumption. These 2 are absolute beasts. They’re both draining their reservoirs completely of 1.75 gallons. I’m also top watering 3/4 of a gallon. That’s 2.5 total every other day. As a comparison, the bags can only take 1.75 tops.
The growth rate and overall health is also better in sips. It’s all I’ll be doing from now on. I’m convinced it’s the best way to grow weed in soil containers, at least for me any way. I’ll be building some new ones over the winter, I have a couple improvements in mind.

Well since you asked, lol. Nothing huge but I’m switching to Sterilite bins for one. They have smooth sides. The ones I’m using have ridges everywhere and that’s why I have to use weed barrier. It’s the only way to keep the soil from sliding down the sides.
I’m also making the air gap slightly larger, maybe a 1/4” and a stiffer screen. When it’s loaded up with roots and water it sags a little. I want to make them with no tape or fabric.
I also need to build sturdier rollers. These are flexing under the weight.

Day 58 of flower

I’m not really convinced Sour Diesel is a 10 week plant but that’s what they’re saying. She hasn’t changed much in the last couple weeks but there’s still a lot of clear trics and she’s still drinking a ton. Strawberry Cough is 9-10 weeks, so it’s likely they’ll all go down at the same time. Those 2 are still pumping out pistils. Won’t be long now.

Day 61 of flower

Could very well be day 63. They look done to me and have for a couple days, but I’m trying to stick to the schedule. I’ll cut them down the first chance I get which I believe will be Thursday. Peace.

The Diesel looks more ready than the Cough to me.
I agree. Weird, that one’s supposed to be at least 10 weeks. I’ll see if I can let them go a few more days. I’m on a 12 hr night shift for a couple week's and kinda need to be done.

Day 64 of flower

Timber! Sour D is coming down. Plenty of amber and cloudy for us over here, and I have the time. She smells awesome and I’m sure will cure even better. I’ll check the Strawberry patch Sunday.

About 2/3 done

Looks like an excellent haul..congrats on another great harvest Fudo! And I have that same Wheelie Cool (in green) and it never occurred to me that I could use it to wash the branches. :)
Yeah I like it cause I can lay the branches out sideways, spread out more, for a final swish.
