Fudo Myoo's Organic, LED Homegrown Journal

I totally do the same lol, give them some hardcore training and them creep on them a couple hours later to see if the standing up or what are they up to?

Most of the time they back up aiming at the sun, vibing and glowing. There is definitely something else that brings to the plant when they are trained, the surpluses of phytohormones has a very positive effect on the plants.

Day 37 of veg

Neville’s not surprisingly, is filling out the net in a hurry. I reckon I have about a week left at most before flip. I was going to give them a veg tea next watering, but now I’m thinking I’ll just start them on Geoflora Bloom. I’m a little concerned about the size of the CC’s but Neville’s isn’t going to wait for them. I’m not worried about the PH/M’s in the slightest, I’m sure they’ll give me all I can handle.

I tuned on the last of the 3500k 350w lights at 60% for even light distribution. They’re spreading out a bit.

Have a good night! :passitleft:

Apparently they like water.

I tied down the mains on the other PH/M and stepped on Neville’s pretty hard. The plan is to work in their 1st dose of Geoflora Bloom next watering on Friday and flip on Monday.

Looking lush and happy in there...can't wait for the net to fill in.

I think I read that somewhere.
It’ll be nice not having the wires and yo-yos everywhere. That 2nd net should make things a whole lot easier.

The growth speed is insane. Just compared your post on the 27 th May with your last photo... like 3 times the size in 10 days; that is outstanding.

Awesome work Fudo.
Thanks Dani! Yeah they’re really digging this batch of soil plus I’m feeding them a little. I’m never stingy with the amendments but it’s getting them available to the herd that’s challenging in an enclosed environment. This batch’s base is 2nd run root balls with added coco. Seems to be doing the trick. Fingers crossed.

Talking about the micro herd…My father in law busted up an old root ball and mixed in nothing but a bag of black top soil and put it in a 15 gallon pot. He fed it nothing but lake water and it thrived all the way through till harvest. Lots of good stuff in there. I’m seriously considering collecting rain water.

Day 40 of veg

It’s almost show time folks. I’m thinking I’ll flip them on Monday. If I go any longer I’m afraid the PH/M will get out of hand, it’s probably already there.

I gave them their 1st top dressing of Geoflora Bloom. If I did the math right, that’s 1.5 cups for the 10 gallon and .75 for the 5’s. I took off the bark layer and spread it evenly across the top. The 10 looked light so I filled in any holes with another half cup. Replaced the bark layer and watered everything in to runoff, except Neville’s, she took 1.75 gallons with no runoff.

There’s a little damage in this one spot on Neville’s. It’s the hottest part of the room and it’s only here, everything else is still nice and green. I’ll keep and eye on it. It’s probably the usual Pk or mag deficiency but I’m doing all I can. I think with plants this big, it’s never enough.

The 2nd net goes up Monday, we’ll see what they look like then. Have a great weekend!

Day 1 of flower

Good morning, today’s the day. We took a quick trip up north and got back a little early last night. I took the time to take 5 Neville’s clones and switch the timer to 12/12. They got about 14hrs of light yesterday.

The burnt edges on Neville’s look better and the plant is greener overall. The Geoflora Bloom is working well and I like that it has a bit of nitrogen. Not taking any chances I gave them all:

.250 ml Sweet Candy
.250 ml Recharge
7.5 ml Cal-Mag
7.5 ml Terpinator
Per gallon of water. I watered according to size. Neville’s took almost 2 gallons with no runoff and the others about .8 gallons with a little runoff. I’ll stick to this for now.
I’ll step on Neville’s till she’s just at the edges of the light. Then I’ll hang the 2nd net and let her go vertical. I’m aiming for a screen filled with foot and a half long colas.

She’s really straining the net.

For air flow, I have one fan on the floor and one up high over the lights. Canopy level is holding at 78.5 F, 45%H. It’s 71.8F, 69%H over the wood chips.

The inspector signed off for flip. Have a great day!

Day 2 of 12/12

I’m going to wait till I see pistils to start counting flower days…

Alright, now she can go vertical.

Looking good and congrats on remembering to take cuttings!

7.5ml Ter/gallon is 66ppm of K, 60ppm of Ca, and 40ppm of S. Something to keep in mind as you start adding up supplements!
From what little I’ve read on the subject, I’ve gathered that measuring TDS in organic soil is notoriously inaccurate. It’s not as cut and dry as measuring salt based, lots of stuff going on in there to throw it off. If you do get a bad measurement, how do you correct it in organics? If I have any problems that point at that, I’d have to adjust for next time, trial and error. What’s in there, is what’s in there, nothing to do about it. I’ll have to research more. I think it comes down to what’s immediately soluble.

I'm guessing what immediately gets taken up by the plants would be the salts, which is why I wanted to make sure you're tracking what's in the Terp, cal mag, and Sweet Candy. From what I've read the plant will ignore the organics in favor of the salts while they're in there.
I’ll look into it, but yeah I think you’re right. The plant will take what’s available. If there’s K in the pot but not cooked, it’s not available, which is why I use Terpinator, it’s instantly available. I’m also using tap water with an unknown ppm, so it’s definitely salty. Too salty, idk but when they’re deficient I got to give ‘em something. Maybe now that they’re started on the Geoflora I’ll back off the Terpinator a bit. Isn’t Terpinator organic? Fermented banana?
