Fresh Harvest Infused Cannabis Oil

I use a baby medicine syringe. At any big chain food supplier in baby isle. Not worth measuring with but capsules only hold what they hold so it works for me.

thanks guys for clearing that up.
New B so do you completely fill one half and then push the other half of the capsule on ?
Wow some RSO capsules we got had literally a spot the size of a 20th of a match head.

This is one of the reasons we suggest biobombs. I have an entire thread dedicated to the process.

I use a disposable pipette. Easier to clean. Lol!

Processing the RSO into this oil mix potentiates the cannabis so far beyond what she's getting now that it's worth investigating. I realize you probably get the capsules already made up, so I'd encourage you to share this link with your good friend. It allows you to save oil and get better therapeutic results.

It's disheartening how mainstream media embraces CBD but continues to vilify THC. It's THC that kills cancer cells through apoptosis. If I were battling cancer, that's the tool I'd want at my disposal.

Anything we can do to help you, you have only to ask and we'll move heaven and earth for you and Jenny. :circle-of-love:

actually sweetheart, Jenny has found the `rub on` mixture I made based on your recipe via Magnus`s secret potion`s thread, is helping
her hands and feet so we already love you for that.

And yes despite reading that high CBD is what she needs, she will take this high THC crop, I will too. who know what`s lurking inside of me.

How long until your harvest? It'll be a relief to get things into the proper balance.

It's wonderful to hear she's responding to the healing cream. It wouldn't hurt to use it on the breast area either. I recently heard of a woman who destroyed her Glioblastoma by applying a similar cream to her neck and shoulders. Caught everyone by surprise when she did that. I believe it was in part because she believed it was possible. The ECS doesn't distinguish between reality and what you tell it. It believes what you tell it 100% of the time.

If you haven't browsed through the thread on supporting the ECS, I highly recommend it. Give Jenny all the advantage you can muster. I believe the most important part of the protocol is the firm belief that your ECS can heal you spontaneously, even without the cannabis, were your joy levels consistently high enough. If you can see to it that you're feeding your body the omega-3s that the ECS uses as the building blocks for cannabinoids you gain a tremendous foothold on upper ground.

The ECS doesn't get enough credit for being the healing force within you. It appreciates an emotional tone that can best be found in the vicinity of joy. From the tone of your posts, I'd say you two have joy in hand. Let it flow continuiously. :circle-of-love:

My threads can't be hijacked. :laughtwo: The business of healing goes on everywhere I post, and the membership has been gracious about me mucking up the waters a bit here and there. Wander our virtual halls and get to know some others. Make some conversation. It doesn't take long to get up to 50 posts. :battingeyelashes:

whoohoo I`ve made my first `fresh harvest` batch.

Here is my story.

This is around 2/3 of the total crop, the other 1/3 will be dried for smoke.
Hanging after washing.
IMG_064752.JPG

Cut up with scissors. I was surprised how the inside of the buds were green and soft, I guess like cutting up a cauliflower.
IMG_065753.JPG

I used 400ml of olive oil to 175g of weed. This ratio differs from SweetSue`s recipe.
My thinking was - The feminised OG Kush seeds I bought were said to yeild a THC value of around 20%
and as I mentioned earlier I don`t want the finish product to be too intense for a 1st time user.
IMG_065950.JPG

After hand blending.
IMG_066353.JPG

The finished cook.
I started off with the gas on quite low and now with hindsight a bit too low, as it took around 45 mins
and was still only hovering around 92 C (198F)
I cranked the gas up a bit and it started to bubble and after a little while the oil started spitting up and out of the pot, I placed some tinfoil to stop it making a mess and left it cooking with a kinda frying sound.
I continued to stir every 5 mins or so and what I should of also done, each time , is check the temp !!
When I did check it after around 20 mins from spitting the temp was up to a whopping 145 C (293F)
So please anyone doing this > Check your temps <
Have I ruined it ? did I overcook the trychs ?
After squeezing out the muslin cloth, I did suck on my gloved fingers and mopped up a bit with bread -
oh ok and I also ate a bit of the remaining crunch. Hmm like nothing you`ve ever tasted, I quite like it.
I am now an hour later and feeling a bit goofed, so yeah perhaps it`s ok. Let us know your thoughts on this plz.
IMG_066943.JPG

The remaining crunch. hmm crunch -I think that`s a cool name for it.
What`s in this jar weighs 77g, and I will use it for a soap or a soup.

Overall a nice easy and enjoyable first attempt.
Thanks again to all the contributors in this great thread.

Have you tested it out yourself? Calculations work out to be around 18 mg per ml of oil.

175 grams wet = 43.75 dry

Using an efficiency multiplier of 0.17 we get

.17 x 43.75 = 7.45 x 1000 = 7,450 mg / 400 ml oil = 18.63 mg/ml

That looks like a good starting point. I'd bet you make the next batch stronger. Lol! This low value gives you flexibility in dosing.

Well done. :high-five: Did you cook this in an oil bath double boiler? That was a high temperature, but you won't know if it degraded the THC until you try it. I'm not sure things are that easily degraded, to be honest. I've had mine spike like that, which is why I hover over it.

I'd expect that any degradation in cannabinoids would simply mean a more diversified cannabinoid load, not that they were destroyed. Let us know how it effects you.

Nice touch with the tin foil. Now you understand why I use a deep pot. Lol!

Congratulations! Your 1st batch went smoother than mine.

Your high temps didn't ruin the oil but probably lost more terpenes. If was only for 20 min then you converted a few % of THC into CBN, which will cause more of a couch lock effect but still potent. Low temps aren't a problem, it just takes longer to decarb. 2 hrs at 220 F will decarb close to 100%. 24 hours at 170 F, maybe less time, will also convert close to 100%. At 290 F you fully decarbed in those 20 minutes, but from then on were converting THC to CBN.

I try to error on low side. The cannabinoids will still be extracted given time. After straining you can test some of oil by heating to 240 F and watching for bubbles. No bubbles = fully decarbed. If you see bubbles then you can finish decarbing the rest or leave it partially decarbed. I like having a little THCa left in the oil. I think it makes for a more relaxed high without couch lock.

wow it hit me pretty hard, I have`nt smoked or anything for a few yrs, I felt pretty spaced out and I would say couch lock.
Jenny is going to try a bit tonight so i`ll report back with that. But yes it would be easier to dose.
Yes I had a cast iron pot with 900ml of sunflower oil, I placed the stainless pot onto a piece of metal strip that I bent into an O shape,
to keep it off the bottom. What I forgot to do is measure the temp of the cast iron pot oil, perhaps by controlling this temp we can get to our target more reliably.
Thanks KingstonRabbi that really helps my understanding.

I have some critical kush that will be ready in a week or so, and I will be better organized next time.

And that's the report I was waiting for. Lol! I look forward to Jenny's response. If it's too psychoactive try using it as suppositories, which is where you'll need to be headed be able to get more cannabinoids in without her being stoned out of her mind all the time.

Not many of us can work efficiently with the buzz I maintain. :battingeyelashes:

if my motivation is HIGH today... ill be doing my 1st ever Fresh Harvest Oil Today:cheertwo::cheertwo::cheertwo:

Mary will be sacrificed today. She is CBDutch Treat, a 10%/5% ish CBD to THC. She sure seems like she has a higher THC when I smoked a test bud a week or so ago. Im excited with the CBD aspect in the oil

I have 2 cooking thermometers so Ill try and keep the Cooking Oil Hot and then monitor the FHO constantly.

Jane had a total of 165gr of harvest, Im sure Mary will be more, so maybe I can do about 200gr in 400ml or 2cups of oil, or something close.

Interesting day for sure, wish me luck

Lol I kinda held the stem of my Kush, and thanked her, before the chop.
Go For it !! Good luck, I will be waiting to see your thoughts on the process. I`ve always enjoyed your posts.
I didn`t realize but we had a jam thermometer I could have left in the mixture for the whole cook.

How can we make a THC/CBD thermometer ? In electronic terms what i`m thinking out loud is - does THC have a different energy flow ?
can this be measured in terms of resistance or voltage. Got to think of a way for us home growers to have info like this available without having to send away for lab results.

Bloody hell where`d that come from, i think I`m still out there man.. hehehe
