Freedom Of Seeds Tabletop Grow In Carmen's Kitchen

Last day of this year Carmen so in a couple of months. I'm so ready!

Getting cataract fixed soon so I can't tell ripeness over the net. Not that I'm any good at guessing for others on a good day, I'm not! Hey maybe after I can be!? Looking awesome here today!

Sure!
Hang in there Otter! I bet that day can't come soon enough.

I weighed and jarred the Cream Mandarin auto and while doing so had a tester. It's lovely It's everything that Satdica say it is. I'm not great at describing weed flavour and aroma but it's delicious. A very distinct citrus flavour and a fully functional high. I will enjoy this when it has cured!

My only regret is that I got a small 23 g haul off it, but what a pleasure to grow. It was no trouble at all. For me that is not economical to grow under lights, but the outdoor Satdicas are doing so well that I'd happily plant more out there. They are compact, discreet and a very pretty addition to the herb garden.

Thanks! I'm driving, it's not so bad, it's just a pita to get used to. And yes, I can't wait for better vision to return! Appreciation of all things beautiful is compromised more than I want but oh well. Soon enough.

Cream Mandarin seems like one I'd really enjoy! i like citricy things in weed!

A bit of Castor oil applied to your eye lids before bed is said to help break up cataracts if you want to try something while you wait for your procedure.

Thanks Azi!
Search Dr Barbara O'Neil on YouTube. She's a naturalpathic doctor (I think that's the term) from Australia and she suggests treatments for a wide range of issues using natural, as opposed to pharmaceutical, options.

Coconut oil, which is one of the few MCT's (medium chain triglycerides) and converted by the liver to ketones, is the brain's preferred fuel (over glucose) and is anther one of her big ones along with the Castor oil.

Another day, another rabbit hole....

Well I figure it's better than having a lot of something you're not fond of! Next time you'll just have to grow three of them. :thumb:
Cannabis? What cannabis?

I fed the Sa with Nourish, considering it was time and there are a couple of weeks to go on this plant still. I didn't give the Sa2 anything because harvest will be within the next few days. Completely different phenos these.

Hey Carmen i have been watching your progress from afar, your GJ is very hard to keep up with, 30 pages of your GJ is very impressive. Your photos are fantastic, you have done an amazing job with my 2 auto strains, the care and attention you have given to these plants is outstanding.
It sounds like you are about to have your first long awaited toke! congratulations for getting these little sealthfies to the finished line, and may the wait have been worth it?
I look forward to your opinion on how it taste smells and feels?
Well done and hope to continue working with you :thumb: :passitleft::cheer::circle-of-love:

63 days is a pretty fast auto, though given how small it is compared to the 83 day one (still pushing out pistils), I'm guessing that speed wasn't the intent of the breeders. 🤷‍♂️
Hey there intheshed love the name:thumb: i used to grow in a shed back in the day, with 8 six foot warm white fluorescent tubes, and it produced great results! and this shed growing cenario required auto's that grow just like Cream Mandarine and Somango autos, in-fact they would have been perfect for my little shed grow space back in 2010.
Unfortunately Carmen didn't get the Blue Dream auto i sent her, they got crushed in the mail during their 6 month travel from Spain to SA, Blue Dream Auto can grow up to 2 mtrs high! And our Blue cheese auto and our Green Crack autos can get to the size of normal feminised plants!
And our new Triploid autos are going to be very big and productive autos when they are ready to offer in about six months from now.
But our OG Kush Auto and our Bubba Kush are also big productive autos!, and our Amnesia Have autos are beautiful big and also very productive high quality autos.
But that can be a big problem for some auto growers if they don't have the hight and space.
Auto plants have really turned a corner these days, with super autos, that actually get to big and better to keep them outdoors in your garden.
Also the quality of autos has now become as powerful as normal feminised strains! I had a random Critical auto grow in my Spanish outdoor garden under the natural light which tasted of delicious terps! and is of a very powerful quality, She grew out of a pot which contained the mother Critical auto producing my feminised Critical auto strain, she had solid nugs and i fed her on Plagron bloom organic liquid feed, i'm keeping her for my persy toke! photo attached.
Carmen has done a fantastic job with what she got, and perhaps next time i will send her bigger autos because she has the space, the Blue Dream auto would have filled her available space.
Next time we will know!
Thanks for your valid comment intheshed! nice chatting with you me growmy, over and out Sprout:ganjamon:

Here is what I harvested off the smaller Somango auto.

Chunky! 😍

Thanks Sprout!

When I started growing cannabis in 2017 I grew autos outside, but it occurred to me that I had space in the storage shed I'd built to put them at night for additional hours of light (using 23w curly CFLs).

I've done a lot of upgrading since then and moved on to photoperiod plants (still schlepping them from sun to shed and back every day), and now the only time I grow autos in a tent during the winter (the shed is unheated and uninsulated). Keeps me busy during the colder months of the year. :thumb:

I'm sure you aim for full sized plants when breeding your autos, which is why I'm sure that a small 63-day plant was not the intent. :)

It's not that easy breeding autos and guarantee they will turn out and grow into big vegetative auto plants you need to produce good size autos, many phenos begin autoflowering after only 2 weeks, because auto's also have phenotypes like normal cannabis plants, and some grow big and some grow small and some grow medium? and some don't start flowering for up to, and after 6 weeks vege? this is where selection comes in? selection is a very time consuming task, because you have to choose the one you are looking for and select it to cross it again, and again, 3 to 4 generations to refine and stabilize the auto you desire, 14 to 18 months per strain, if your stabilizing several autos strains at the same time? then there needs to be total isolation to reduce cross pollen contamination.
The problem with producing seeds for the seed industry? fashion vogue, strain demands change rapidly, and it has a negative impact on the breeders trying to keep up with the ever changing new strain demands, and the other problem is keeping the breeder strain junkies focused to complete each and every strain, because they want to make to many strains at the same time, we have to stop the breeders smoking the best weed in the world and this will improve their strain breeding ability, :lot-o-toke::yahoo::bravo:💃🕺We must stop the strain breeding junkies from having fun, it's down right disgraceful:blunt: :cheer::theband::theband::rofl::ganjamon:
