Forbidden Fruits With LED

Good morning @static123 sorry about the issue.
Your in soil right.
Are you feeding full strength nutrients at 6.3 ph?
Letting them dry dry dry out.
Then giving plain water.
Then dry dry drying again.
Then full strength nutrients at 6.3.
Then water-feed-water-feed with a dry period in between, very important.
How do you determine when to water again?

Stay safe
Bill

Hey, yes I am doing exactly as you have said, I determine when to water by lifting the posts I have got used to how they feel when dry.

They look a touch overwatered so maby wait an extra day when watering.
What nutrients are you giving?
Are you following the dosages recommended on the schedule?

Stay safe

I am using the recommended amounts on everything apart from the grow and cal mag,

The hard crispy patches on the fan leaves are from excessive nutrients. I would water with only pH adjusted water and collect a sample of the first runoff liquid and test the samples pH and PPM strength. to determine if a pH imbalance or excess nutrient buildup are present in the grow medium. If the sample readings indicate high pH and or high PPM strength I would slowly flush the grow medium until the pH and PPM strength are reduced in the grow mediums. I would reduce the calcium and magnesium supplement to 1 millilitre per litre.

Hi, I did a flush with PHed water only two feeds ago, do you still think I need to do it again, could this be light intensity from the LEDS ?

It is unlikely the LED Grow Lights are at cause due to the location and origin type of the fan leaves damage. The damage pattern on the fan leaves is only ever from excess nutrients as indicated by the hard crisped up leaves. If you handle the damaged areas on the fan leaves the area will crumble to hard flaky powder which is indicates the nutrient toxicity buildup in the cannabis fan leaves.

I would like for you to collect the sample of the first liquid as described and perform the pH and PPM test on the sample liquid which will indicate if my suspected causation of the cannabis plants issues are correct.

Ok I’ll do that and reply with the results, thanks

Should you find the test indicates the pH is high and PPM high indicating a buildup of excess nutrients and waste metabolites present in the grow medium I would slowly flush the grow medium with pH adjusted water until the pH is reset and PPM either read 20 or less PPM with a consumer grade PPM meter.

When you water your plants with a nutrient solution do you also water the cannabis plants until runoff?

If you are not able to raise and pour off the liquid consider a small wet dry vacuum just for removing runoff liquid either when watering or removing waste water.

Hey, should I wait until they have dried out first ?

Seeing as they look slightly overwatered I'd wait until it's dry as a bone before putting anything else in.

Many thanks, I really hope I can get them back to a good health.
Check out @HappyHazmat88 he had similar issues.
He started using a dry cycle properly.
His plants are awesome now.
Ask him about his sign.

Stay safe.

Yea at @static123 this is what I use and never faulter from it.....and thanks to bill for the advice..since I've followed this I haven't had any issues at all with my grow.

Now going on the weight of both pots I would normally be feeding or watering at this point but I’m going to wait an extra day and see what happens as you’ll see from the photographs I have attached they seem to have sprung back to life thank goodness. I will tomorrow (maybe) or the following day water with plain PhD water test ppm and the pH and depending on what that is I’ll ask advise on here again. Thanks so much to everyone that’s been helping me through this grow, it’s been a Learning curve so far.
