For all the stealth micro grow box growers

Anyone Got Any Experience With The Scrubber And Fan I Ordered? Need To Know If Its Going To Work As Far As Keeping The Smell At A Minimum.. Major? Rhet? Ak?

Sorry - no experience. I live in a legal state so smell is not a concern.
I'm not a fan of those little inline booster fans, but in a small grow box it will probably work just fine.
As to sizing the carbon filter to the box size and fan CFM, I have no clue.

Sypherz there is always trial and error with this hobby, dont rush out ordering all sorts of stuff, take your time , put some thaught into the design of your area , use what you have ordered ..youll have plenty of time as they grow to sort out niggling problems and adapt things to your needs. feel free to join along on my or others grow journals, youll pickup all sorts of hints tips and grow ideas

Im Sure I'll Run Into Plenty Of Problems Along The Way.. Lol.. Just Dont Want To Get Mid Grow And Start Stinking Like Crazy.. I Am Making Sure My Stealth Box Is Perfect Before I Even Attempt To Grow.. As Far As Nutes What Type Do U Use?

Start simple, or else you will drive yourself crazy, and deplete your wallet. Each grower has his/her own way with plants. Choose a simple method and see how it works for you. You can always add on, experiment, and change methods. Your plants will adapt. They're a tough species!

Just Curious.. Are Autos Easier To Grow? Ak What Type Of Ferts Do U Use?

I have read that Autos are pretty foolproof. You don't need to fuss with timers. They flower when their internal clock tells them to.

Unlike most growers, I use off-the-shelf organic nutes, one set for veg growth with the NPK with added trace minerals, and another formula for bloom, which is just PK with added trace minerals. They are recommended for fruit and veggies that will be consumed and may be applied even up to harvest. But I still stop all nutes a couple weeks before harvest and give just water.

I buy the liquid concentrate and dilute 1/2 of the recipe. You can water the soil or spray the foliage (after dark) but I don't like to put anything unnecessary on the leaves, except water spray to wash down the leaves and buds and increase the RH.

I also give doses of Sugar Daddy: A couple TBS of brown sugar plus 2 TSPs of epsom salts to a gallon of water. This plumps the buds and adds mangnezium, which may not be in your store-bought nutes. This is a homemade concotion that my plants LOVE!

So I have gallon jugs from purchased water, each marked as to contents and recipe, and what schedule to use for feeding. This is something you'll work out yourself. You don't want to overfeed them.

Ok Well I Just Finished Putting The First Coat Of Paint On The Outside Of My Box.. Figured Out The Intake Air Situation.. Now Just Waiting On Scrubber To Arrive So I Can Cut Exhaust Hole And Line The Inside. In The Meantime Ive Been Looking At Seedbanks.. Ive Looked At Herbies,Bonza And Nirvana.. Has Anyone Ever Ordered From Bonza With Success In South Usa.. According To Site I Have To Ship To Same Address As My Card.. Kind Of Paranoid About That.. Any Advice?

Hi I have just read up on this thread and if I may I would like to share my experience's with you.

My grow box is 24" × 24" ×30"t. Painted flat white on the inside. I run a small 4" in line fan and scrubber and passive intake. I started with a 100 x 3w unbranded led light.

When I upgraded my light to the marsll 400w is suffered bad heat issues with temps hitting 105f. This is how I solved that problem

Growing Small space certainly has its challenges, I try and keep 4 auto's in this space, at various stages of life.
I hope things work out for you and best of buds for the future. If I can be of any help, don't hesitate to give me a shout.

Nice Setup.. I Will Be Going With Reg Cfls For My First Few Grows.. Will Be 10 23 W Cfls.. My Box Is Slightly Different Than Yours Measuring 18X22x40.. Did You Noyice A Yield Difference Between Cfls And Leds? If I Decide To With Leds Later I Was Told That A Mars 300w Led Would Be Sufficient.. As Far As Seedbanks And Legality Of Having Seeds Where U Are Shoot Me A Pm.. I Posted A Pic Of The Scrubber And Fan I Have On The Way On Page 2.. I'll Try To Post A Pic Of My Light Setup Later Today.. As Far As White Paint Is It Better Than Mylar? Or About The Same?

I only use cfl's for a weeks or 2 so can't make a comparison. Noticed a big difference when I upgraded the led.
I've never used mylar, this is my one and only box.

As far as seeds go, i'm in the UK, not in a legal country and I do my seed shopping at a local shopfront seedbank. The seedbank sponsors of this site do ship with good Stealth to most parts of the world.

Mix up the nutes then test then adjust the ph if need be then test again to be sure your good then feed to plants collect runoff test and keep that in mind. Thats what i do atleast

As Far As Soil Growing Goes I Know U Have To Watch The Ph.. I Am Going To Order A Ph Meter And Some Ph Up/Down.. Any Insight On This Is Appreciated Bc Im Slightly Confused On This Part.. Do I Mix My Nutes Then Check And Adjust Ph Before Feeding The Nutes And Watering?

I mix, test, adjust and feed. Test runoff too

I dont grow autos but i do grow with cfls and i use the 2700k the whole way through but if you are wanting to mix spectrums that would work just fine too. Cfls are simple yet easy to complicate really all you need to know about cfls are that they lack penetration so keep them no more then 4inches max from the plant no further then that or it wont do any good, most the light emitted from a cfl comes off the sides not the tip, and due to the lack of penetration cfls have lst is your friend so you can make the most of your light, lastly different spectrums are used during different phases of life but more importantly pack in as much light as you can (factoring in heat ofcourse). Also a little tidbit for you is 23w cfls have the best lumen/watt ratio
