For all the stealth micro grow box growers

I Dont See A Problem With Running It 24/7.. But That Still Leaves The Problem Of Light Getting In Through The Passive Intake.. Any Suggestions?

Light travels in a straight line. Put a 90 degree elbow ahead of the intake. No light!

Well Just Got Seriously Discouraged When TryinG To Make The Louver.. Didnt Go As Smooth And Didnt Turn OutsSo Great.. So Back To Square 1 On Finding A Way To Put A Filter On My Intake And Keep Light From Escaping.. And I Am Pretty Good At Carpentry.. But I Prob Should Have Tried Metal.. Any Pics Of Your Light Traps To Give Me Some Ideas Would Be Appreciated. Im A Perfectionist So Its Gonna Be Right Or I'll Trash It.. Decided After I Failed Horribly To Take Abreak Until Tomorrow. Maybe Some Others Will Show Pictures Of Their Passive intake

Anything that breaks the line-of-sight of the air flow will do it.

So Basically Something Like A Ptrap That Is Used On Sink Drains Would Work? I Only Need A 3" Intake Max

A P-trap or or even just a 90 degree elbow of 3" PVC drain pipe is a quick solution.

Major Would Cfls Be Better Or A Mars 300w Led?

Probably. It depends on how many you add. I don't use CFLs but have seen enough grows that do use them to know they can grow some good medicine. For the price of a Mars 300 you could probably buy at least 10 CFLs and the needed hardware. It seems to me 10 of those would offer better coverage than the single LED panel.

Maybe others who have used both can give you a definite answer.

Lol yeah jojo did a good job on his light louvers .. on my veg cab i made the rear wall double skinned and made an air channel from left to right down the bottom intake and right to left at the top exhaust edit : both intake and exhaust have 12v ballbearing pc fans running at 9v to keep them quite otherwise they can be a bit noisy like a deep freezer hummm...

Thanks. nah no carbon filter the cab is just for cloning and veging they do start to get a bit of a smell when there ready to be potted up and moved to flower tho.. you will need a much more powerful fan to scrub and create enough air exchange but that will create more noise you might need a diy silencer, ive made a few there simple i used 2, 5 gal buckets some insulation and some chicken wire .. they work well. The dimensions roughly 1200h x 700 x 700mm from memory? Yes exactly empty space between the two walls but i also wanted the intake and outake on differant sides to create better air circulation so there channeled to seperate them .. maybe you could utilize larger channeling on the exhaust side and create an inbuilt silencer?? Good luck

Mmm ive had a few of those fans there not the best for pulling air through a filter, there more of an in line booster fan ... a centrifugal fan will have much more cfm when drawing through a scrubber.. you could use it for now and add the scrubber and better fan as they grow but you may want them sooner rather than later
