Fluxing NL x BB

Day 98 from seed.

I'm happy with progress thus far. Since an auto in the same grow tent got harvested last week, these girls are now on the GLR of 12hrs on, 5.5 hrs off, 1hr on, 5.5 hrs off. I was thinking of another 3 weeks of vegging before flipping to a 11/13 light schedule. I will first seek advice from my 2 mentors(Light Addict & skunnymonster) on when to flip.

Looking good buddy, I've just gone to the GLR in my veg room today :) With your girls, I wouldn't put a time frame on it, just get all the heads where you want them, go vert for a bit, then flower :)

Day 108 from seed.

Calling Team Flux.

I believe I have reached a tipping point with these girls. There are over 20 bud sites on each plant. Shall I go for vertical growth now?
Here are the latest pics.

Right guys, some advice please(to save me going right through LA's thread again).

On the following photo, what shall I do with the side growths now? Leave or remove?

From tomorrow when my Night Queens are gone, these girls will be spoiled with LED light from the Mars II 1200 they currently have alongside the Budmaster II 675 XG.

He he! a Budmaster man! :) Ok on those low down new secondary sites of growth. You leave them on! Give each site a low level blanket of fan leave also.
The secondary shoots you defol hard as hell just keep taking as much leaf off them as poss without killing them. If any get to gangly just pinch and crush the inner tissue just below the top node point on each.
The upshot is you will get the odd one that goes nuts and reaches for the canopy. As long as the structure is good leave them they pay off nicely. I got an extra 4-5 big colas from outstretched secondary shoots! :)

Thanks LA, I get the picture.

Hope I'm not to late. You're killing the LST bruh! :bravo:

Thanks man, you're not too late. I haven't switched to flowering yet.

Now is the time your looking at each site as if it were an individual plant in itself :)

Oh, so now I've got over 60 plants to deal with?

Your killing it man :bravo: & you're going to be mighty busy :)

Thanks skunny, I have enjoyed my time with them and I suppose a bit more won't hurt :high-five:

These 3 girls are now being watered and sprayed with compost tea only.

Tea recipe:
2 gallons of clean water from the de-humidifier.
215 milliltres of compost.
45 millilitres of unsulphured Blackstrap molasses.
17 millilitres of kelp.
5 millilitres of rock dust.
Aerated by a big air pump with a 6" air stone for 3 days.

I fill a spray bottle with the tea whilst the tea is still blending and spray all the leaves as quickly as possible. Apparently, the beneficial bacteria do not last long out of the aerated mix. I then use the rest of the tea to water the soil creating a good bacterial zone.

I am hoping to avoid any use of fertilizers but will use whatever is needed if this method is not going to plan.

I have some organic soil 'cooking' at the moment and this compost tea method is my trial run for using only tea. However, I will not sacrifice these Fluxed girls for a future grow. I am confident that all will be good.

Day 123 from seed.

I have taken off side branches from the main shoots on plants 1 & 2. I am going to leave plant no.3 as it is, side branches and all.

The girls are still on a GLR so I'm hoping the flowering hormones are ready to burst these girls into flower soon.

A question for Team Flux: Does it look like I have enough vertical yet or should I stay in veggie mode for a while longer?
