Fluxing NL x BB

Just a quick photo update as things are moving fast now.

Plant no.1 is now having its longest shoot trained around the outside of the pot.

Woah!! Crazy looking plant friend! I love it :bravo:

Although I don't know much about "Fluxing"... just that you REALLY manipulate the plants growth haha..

Would you mind telling me what the benefits to Fluxing are?

Thanks in advance!(:

Thank you. If you look just above my last couple of posts you will see in Light Addict's post 2 links for fluxing. You will get a better understanding there. A very good read. The main benefit is to get loads of main colas evenlky spread across the pot. LA has a very good plant to see in his thread.

Looking really nice still my friend. Its great to see you doing so well with fluxing :)

Thanks LA, I'm enjoying the challenge. I'm thinking of your fluxed girl and it inspires me. I'm not in any rush to go to flower so I would rather get it right. I enjoy sitting there for half an hour or so and just playing with them. It's therapeutic.

thats looking very very well mate , good job on your first go , hat off to you . sorry i havnt been around as much lately , ill catch up though

I'm unable to go into anything half-hearted mate. Thanks for the kind words. I believe with these girls that I will get out what i've put in with interest.

Good for you on not being in a rush! All the real fun starts when going vert anyway :) then your gonna be sat a wee bit longer tinkering! :)

Let's hope so mate. I would like to give this method a go in a huge fabric pot, something like 15 gallons or so. The current ones are 30 litres which is just short of 7 gallons. I've got some organic soil cooking which I might use for a later jumbo Flux.

They're motoring along mate, you must be doing something right :)

Thanks mate, I'm enjoying it too. It only occurred to me yesterday that this will be the longest vegging I've ever done on cannabis plants. These girls were born on the 12th September. These girls should produce well with all that vegging time in fabric pots. I bet the roots look mad in there.

Based on what you see mate, do you have any idea when I should think about flowering? I'm just thinking of the pre-flower stretching. They are on a 20/4 light schedule at the moment and I'm thinking of reducing the light gradually at maybe 2 hours per week which would take me 4 weeks to reach a flowering schedule. Any thoughts welcome.

Haha, yea they do take a while to veg & you can guarantee your roots will be mental in the fabric pots :)

What I did with mine was allow a good bit of vertical before the flip, I think it was around 6". If your arms are in the right spots for going vert you need to use this time to toughen your arms up by bending them so they'll hold the colas. Once they get a couple of inch vert they should fly so you might be about right with 4wk. The vert stage is the most important & time consuming part. You have to treat each arm as an individual plant. Open the tops regularly & pinch branch shoots to keep them under control :)
