Flump's Grow: Dinamed CBD, 2019/12

Good day! I don't see sign of alternating nodes yet. Doc, what's the next step if no alternating nodes in 2 or 3 days?

Drench as scheduled, spray with Brix and wait......won't be much longer. What's your veg light cycle?

If I get things correctly, last drench was TP so next is GI regular strength, right? And I should brix foliar at least once a week, correct?

Light cycle is 16/8

Thanks Doc!

Yep! You've got it. I'd go stronger on the drenches at this point, because the plant is getting large, growing fast and roots are growing like crazy....mix it at 1/2 oz GI per gallon of water, with a splash of Tea.

If you still need another drench after this one, make it pure water.

I transplanted a few weeks ago and I still can't believe how fast they grow at that stage.....incredible.

Yep....and that explosive growth needs a robust root system in order to keep things healthy, which is why we do what we do in veg. A massive, tight rootball, properly scored, will fill the final container with fine root hairs, barely visible.

The fine root hairs are what take in all the nutrition, not the thick water roots.

I've got some plants in 1 gals right now that I need to be careful with as they can tip over from the fan they're so top heavy. I've not grown them that big in 1g pots before. They're over 4 ft tall...lmao. I imagine when I upcan them next week they'll have some serious roots. I'm dunking them every other day.

Evening folks,
I dunked her tonight. She was wilting a bit too much for my comfort. 1 gal water with 15ml GI and 2ml Tea. Last watering was Feb 21 and we're now the 24th. I expect next watering to be tomorrow or early Wednesday..

Doc, can we water and foliar the same day or it's best a couple days later?

You can do both the same day....but I like to do the foliars inbetween waterings if convenient. If it's not convenient, just spray 'em! It's more important to try to spray in the morning......

The irony...I sprayed this morning with the intention of drenching tomorrow, but when I looked at them around noon today they looked a bit dry and the lowers were a bit droopy, so I drenched them. Done it many times, but I prefer to wait if I can too. One thing I notice is the aromas tend to explode after a good foliar

Ya Gov., great way to say it. :high-five: Ive always sprayed in between drinks too, kind of like a shot in the arm for them .
It's wat i recommend to all. Also like Doc said, in the morning, but only after an hour or so after the lights have been 'on'. It takes a while for the stomatta opens enough on the leaf surface to allow the spray to penetrate properly. I spent a good amount of time researching all that.
Anyhow , Flumps pant has been doing great and it's so cool to see things improve like they have. Cheers.

:nomo:...a Stella
Cheers!

Thanks Doc. Morning is not convenient for me with this light schedule so I foliar before lights off. Next grow will be different.

Thank you for the kind words! I'm really enjoying this grow so far!!

Morning folks,
Some pictures! She looks happy but I don't see any sign of alternating. I'm starting to worry about head space if growing xmas tree style... I won't have a lot of room for the stretch after transplant.

Alright then....if you're worried about headroom, let's listen to Br. Duggan and top her!

Going by the last picture of your most recent post, I say count down from the top 4 nodes. There's a nice spot in about the very middle of the plant on that pic where you can snip it. Before doing so, insure that you have all 5 or more bladed leaves on the tops that will remain after you snip it.

You'll cry seeing all that lovely, healthy foliage cut from the plant, but if headroom is an issue, it's a good move.
