Flower Child's First Grow: Seeds- Soil- MH-HPS Sun- 2013

Ok the pics are finally uploaded-took over an hour this morning! Heres a few new bud shots:

Wierdness here with this pineapple- mostly all leaf- her buds are all this way- fortunately she's the only one doing this.

A row of pineapples who are so tall they rarely get out of the tent. To the far left is the one that a falling fan snapped her entire top off. The one on the right is still wired and duct taped togeather after she split her main stem in half. They recovered well.

Glad to hear you got some relief. :thumb: It's been months now since I've used an inhaler- just vaporize twice a day. It makes me cough too but the end result is my lungs feel so clear I never run out of breath like i used to. Pot sure is an amazing medicine. :) It's too bad the gov won't allow grants for scientists to study it yet.

Ya know waiting on these plants to finish makes me feel like a small child right before christmas- the anticipation is killing me:cheesygrinsmiley:
The tricomes I've checked look for the most part all cloudy and pistils are starting to turn red so it wont be long now. If you go by predicted dates they should be done sometime around the last week of this month. That means I should be smoking my own homegrown weed by mid August! :rollit::goof:

Thanks runewulfsong- For being my first grow- I'm tickled pink with how they are doing. I don't exactly have a green thumb when it comes to indoor plants (houseplants or weed), so I really expected to have killed them by now! I've had a lot of help from experienced growers here and that has made all the difference!:green_heart:

Hi Hiker, Thanks! I flipped them May 25 so its coming up on 7 weeks. Both strains are supposed to be 7-9 week finishers but I'm hoping they will go on a bit longer and keep fattening up.
 
Oh I forgot to mention that the plants woke me up at 5 am with a temp alarm going off. :trance: Said it was 90 degrees in there!!
After a few curse words I decided to leave the tent door open and went back to bed. When I got up this morning the alarm sensor still said 90- guess its broken cause the other thermometer reads 77- whew!

Tonite is feeding time and I'm debating whether to give them Age Old Organic nutes again. Or stop, and just give them molasses and water from now on. I read somewhere that you can use organic nutes till the very end, but I really don't want to take a chance on them ending up tasting of it. :straightface: Hmmm.....decisions,decisions........any opinions???:peace:

But Im a "run them at max output" kinda guy. :) I think your gonna have good tasting buds no matter what you decide in the last two weeks. Since your doing organics, maybe run them with nutes til last flush then hit them with a molasses flush. :) Just my opinion. Whatever you decide Im sure will work great.

Thanks Spimp! Good Weed to you too! Well after much deliberation and studying pistils and tricomes, I decided to take your advise and fed them nutes and molasses last nite. I withheld the cal mag they'd been getting- it smells so awful and I'd hate to see them taste of it. Seven of the nine girls have a noticeable amount of red pistils visible, and all of them have cloudy tricomes. The bomb buds feel rock hard to the touch, but the pineapples are still pretty airy- hopefully they will fill in more. One thing I found though horrified me-a single yellow bananna on one of the buds. I picked it off and tried to get a pic but it was so small and squished that it wasnt recognizeable. Hopefully it didnt spread pollen! I've been trying to upload some new pics this morning but my phone just stalls out when I try. Think I'm over the data limit this month:straightface: and its slow down time. I'll try again when I get back from taking the dogs to the vet for their shots. :peace:

If you should find more, give it a spitz of water to stop the chance of pollen spreading. on the other hand you are very close to harvest so I doubt there is enough time for seeds to grow.
But if they do and become mature chances are the seed will be FEM seeds.

Hi fish cake, Good weed to you too! :) Wow I didn't even think about putting water on that bananna- just washed my hands after tossing it in the trash. You see my feeding routine consists of :bong: :bong:, check pistils,:bong: ,check tricomes, :bong: feed,::bong::bong:,put back in tent and repeat eight more times. She was the eighth one I examined, so I was pretty high by the time I found it and i kind of panicked and plucked without thinking. Oh well, she has the biggest colas of all the bombs so a few seeds from her would be cool!
