Continue with the 5-1-1 fert for the next 2 weeks while they stretch. Starting the 3rd week of flower start adding 10 -15- 10 and phase out the 5-1-1 altogether.
Male flowers will show first usually - they look like little "footballs" on a tiny little stalk. To identify a male very early on look for the little stalk on the preflower. It's really hard to see at first.
With females, the pistil will usually catch your eye first. Like one day no preflowers or any indicators of sex, then the next day at light on - 1 or 2 pistils usually right around the 4th or 5th node.
