ive no clue what strain the are but hoping for some indica lol.
cfl's are cheap run you abuot 12-13 bucks for the really good ones, ive no clue how many u would need per. sq. ft. but they are working awsome and ionly had 4. there specs are 27w = 100w, 1660 lumens each bulb,i now have 6 of those they are the daylight style. i plan on gettin 4 marathons which are soft white for flowering, there specs are 45w = 150w, 2600 lumens each bulb.
i was told the daylight was best for veg and soft white was best for flowering so im goin to go with that seeing as they have been doin great so far.
no balast you can plug them into your regular light socket, if you look at the pic of my lights there just screwed into a socket to light fix and inserted into a suspended power bar. they are also supposed to be power savers and dont get very hot great for a small grow closet such as mine , i have 2, ones on waiting incase its needed.
