I've got to change the nutes out tomorrow and trim the ladies up a bit. At that time they'll be one month in flower..... they are really starting to take off!

Hello All!

I've changed out the nutes to start off week 5. Assuming that these ladies will take at least 10 weeks to flower and my feeding schedule is only good for 8 weeks, I went ahead and used the same amount of nutes as last week. If doing this was a mistake, will someone please tell me?

Also, it's really getting quite crowded in there. I trimmed the ladies up some, but should I trim further or just keep doing what seems to be working for me so far? I'd really like to get more light throughout the chamber if possible. In hydro, do I even need any fan leaves or do the nutes take care of it all?

Sunlight(sic) = Energy
Leaves = Energy conversion/storage

YES! Never remove a leaf that can be moved instead.

I agree ... pulling leaves to get more light in, for me has only resulted in smaller buds where i took the leaf feeding the bud.
Plants look super good! Nice and bushy

So far this has been a great journey to take. I think I may have found a new hobby actually. I really like sitting with the plants and admiring my handy work. I may be a little off, but who ain't, 'eh?

If the roots are sitting in the solution and the solution's O2 level drops too low you might see like symptoms.

With enough O2 in the solution, no, the roots can spend their entire lives in it.

Thanks for the clarification TS. Actually there was a period of a few hours where the O2 pump line became disconnected. I was lucky to catch it when I did and plugged it back in!

White Widow after 5 full weeks in flower...

White Castle after 5 full weeks as well...

Judging from the looks of those buds, can anybody give me a best guesstimate as to when these ladies are likely to be done? My gut is telling me at least another 5 weeks, but I don't really have anything concrete to base that on. I ask mainly because I'm going to have to get some clones going at some point and assume that that will take about 2-3 weeks according to the BCNL method.

Anyhow, overall, I'm thinking so far, so good! What say you?

Looking good kruizin.
I'd say 4weeks is good. If you going to take clone from the flowering plant the sooner the better. It's better to take clones in veg and take them from a lower branch.

I'll be taking the clones off of mama in about a week then and from the lower branches.

Damn, I really nervous about this clone thing, but so far everything has gone relatively smoothly.
