Here is the big ol distraction, the hot, fucking, distraction, thank goodness at that moment I went out to pick beans, I smelt somethin. Opened her up and jesus murph.
For anyone wondering, Giselle and the rest of my veggies barely escaped damage, like, that heat was destroying my face as I fought off flames I thought would damage my plants. I literally stood in the face of fire to protect this thing, so, you could say im a hero
bahah but in all seriousness the front of my garden got singed, and Giselle is protected at the back. Crazy ass day though, and a distraction to keep Giselle in the ground for at least another week.

Everything is fine, just a garage. I find it nearly impossible to stress about material/money/status as I have gotten quite into Zen and Buddhism, this test really made that clear.
However, I have a question about Giselle, quite a lot of red hairs now. Almost 50/50 Id say its 65/35 right now for white/red
Still looks like she needs some swelling. She will survive until friday at the earliest, hopefully thru another weekend. Week by week basis, anyways, question. With the red hairs multiplying quickly, am I just lookin at a weak harvest or is this normal? I know youve all said normal before but I am wondering if its normal as in near the end of the line or normal as in it'll get red before its finished. Thanks ya'll for the concern, and help

After the hairs darken they will start to recede and you will notice the catalyxs swell. None have really swelled on this girl yet but it's coming

Here is Giselle today! Unbelievably beautiful today, and she smells AMAZZZZZZIIIIINGNNGGGGGG. My intuition is telling me that she is going to swell up nice before this weekend hits, and continue that for a solid week. Also, seems the yellowing of the leaves continues to the next leaf after one falls off, nothing crazy. Anyways, enjoy!

How long would you say? I can almost certainly guarantee I can't do longer then the 15th, again, week by week, but she's a win right now as is if you ask me.. gotta cut my losses at some point
