First Grow!

I was reading that and it says

Parts affected are by the molybdenum deficiency are: Older leaves.

The worst affected leaf is near the top so it is a newer leaf,i am going to have to moniter it today and tomorrow,i can get miracle grow to correct like it suggests so it's no big 'e'

Cheers again SABO :-)

I have to nip out to get a bag of rock salt i shall return soon !! lol

Alright, to completely rule out Light Burn move that plant to a different spot or rotate her.

How close was she to the light & how were your Temps?? I see that some of the leaves are curled, brown looking & have some white streaks appearing to start from the outer edge working itself in, but then I some leaves, where it is white & brown in the center of the leaf, but not curling????

Hey virgin.I think its light burn.mine went like that,I moved the light up a foot an it got a lot better.I'm no expert, but I'd def say move ur light up if u can.:thumb:

Hey guys cheers for the input :-)

I have rotated her out of the strong light,my temps are 78-81 and i have raised the light a little.

SABO i think you might be on to something with the Mo def IMO. I am reasearching online now and found a chart ..
The symptoms sound similar to MAGNESIUM (Mg)..
Lower leaves yellow and may even turn white while veins remain dark green. Blades die and curl upward.

But saying that this is what it says with Mo def
MOLYBDENUM (Mb)
Yellowing of middle leaves. Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Mb.

Is it possible to have both ??

VG,

I think (always dangerous) what you did by rotating the plant is correct. Before, I would treat for any Mg/Mo Def, I would wait a couple of days. I don't see any surrounding leaves affected at all & all others appear to be healthy. I'm leaning more towards light burn right now.

Keep your fan blowing lightly over the canopy & I would start rotating the Ladies twice a day. Raise the lights at bed time and re-adjust in the morning.

I hope that is all you are dealing with! Keep those Pics on file if it is Light Burn, I searched the Forums & really couldn't find a good picture.

:Namaste:

Mine is burned more tho lol

I concur. Nothing to do but wait now. Personally, I would clip the badly damaged leaves off so the Lady doesn't spend time trying to heal something that is too far gone. Only clip the really burnt ones in you last picture if you decide to.

:high-five:

Watch those lights in Flower!

Yeah, rock salt will suck the humidity right out of the air. Am battling humidity also. Rained last night, window was open and am up to 60% right now. Shut the window & have a fan sucking out the wet air! We had a salt shortage, because of a very hard winter and there was none in stock to even buy. I'll get it back down in a couple of hours through ventilation.

:high-five:

Hey PinkyGreen welcome :-)

I think when i filled the bucket up first off the rock salt had built up moisture while in storage and that's what put my RH up because it was damp,i air dried it and then filled some old netting up and hung it up in the tent but the lights are off now and i'm going to have to wait untill tomorrow to see if it's made a difference. Watch this space !! lol
