First Grow White Widow Auto Flower Feminized Soil

Hi guys,
Noticing significant growth on one plant. I think the ladies liked the feeding. Turned on the humidifier again today. The sick plant is not getting worse, so it was 100% light burn that was the issue. Here are pictures. I can’t wait for their next feeding !!

Hello guys,
Been 36 days now. Humidity was at 50% this morning and temperature at 27 C. I used the moisture meter on the plants and it was showing me that they are still moist. This means it wasn’t broken when I used it earlier and I had just been severely under watering them. Measured the tallest plant and it is at 8 inches now. Noticing growth on all but one.

Looks like something is not quite right with the upper part of the plant in the 2nd to last pic. Try and get a photo without the purple if you can. I got one of those moisture meters when I started out too and it was pap. Freshly soaked pot would register moist, dunk it in a glass of water it would register exactly the same. Next grow lift the pot when it's first filled with soil and feel the weight, remember what it feels like. That will be carrying moisture too so won't be dry. Then after your first watering lift it straight away and feel the weight. Then you know the difference and you soon get a good feel for it.

Hey ,

I hope those pictures are okay. I’m noticing vertical growth with the one that was behind the rest. That’s a good idea thanks. I was also thinking of getting a scale to measure each pot. Would be cool to have a scale under each pot lol. Humidity tonight was 59%. Temperature at 27.2 C. Checked all the pots and they still moist enough. The first picture is the one you were previously talking about.

That's much better mate. I think the purple lighting makes it look much worse than it is. I wouldn't change anything just yet. Yeah weighing the pots would tell you for sure but not necessary if you don't want to spend money on scales. I've got a bit of yellowing on mine right now but I'm fairly sure it's because my ph was off at the beginning so waiting it out now that's been adjusted. They look pretty healthy overall. I'm guessing you've read up on and understand 'the stretch' when they start flowering.

If you have anything you recommend I read I’m always willing to learn but I did read a bit. :)

No not really mate as long as you understand that with autos they are on a clock and will start flowering when they decide to. Often around the 3 week mark, that's why it's important to get as much growth before that happens. Then the stretch will begin and you'll have a period of rapid growth. Depends on the strain but they can double in size. Some more some less. Then they'll stop all vertical growth and start developing the flowers. In a nutshell.

Thank you :). I’m currently in week 5 but they are still stretching. I will have to keep an eye out when they start flowering because I need to lower the humidity to lower than 50%. I think turning off the humidifier should get me to the right humidity.

They've started already mate. The stretch is part of early flowering. Pistils popping out at the nodes. Don't worry about the RH until you've got buds formed though. Shouldn't be long now and you'll see those starting to form.

Hey guys,
I moved the lights back a bit more. The sick plant is not getting worse so that’s good. The plant that I moved to the centre of two lights is doing very well and growing. Been 33 days so far.

Hi guys,
Been 39 days now. Noticed that the light burn increased tiny bit on the new plant. Raised the lights even more. Getting close to reaching the ceiling. Didn’t expect to have this problem, but the opposite haha. First picture is the new plant getting the burn. Pots still moist at the bottom.

Hey guys,
Been 41 days now. Humidity was bit low at 35%. Humidifier ran out of water. Temperature was at 29 C. The second plant that started getting light burn is not getting worse. Noticing pistils on all plants but one. One plant is growing kind of bushy. Checked the pots with moisture meter and some parts are still moist. Been about 7 days since last watering. Not seeing any dehydration signs.

First picture below is the first plant to get light burned. Second picture is second plant started getting light burn.

Hi everyone,

Been 45 days now. Finally gave them a watering after 11 days. Majority of pots were showing dry on moisture meter and were light to carry. Gave them two gallons of water split between 5 plants. I also added 100% of recommended nutrient dosage.

For each gallon of water I added following:

5 ml Micro
1.25 ml Gro
5 ml Bloom

The first gallon of water the PH was 6.51 and PPM was at 573. Adding this much nutrients in raised my PH significantly. The second gallon of water the PH was 6.68 and PPM was 782. I added a bit too much PH down and had to adjust it, that’s why PPM increased. Lets see how they respond.
