First Grow - Pineapple Chunk/Tangerine Dream

Update: the ladies are doing fine today, but would like to say something that I think is going to be interesting. Me and my father have a backpacking trip planned on the weekend after the 4th of July. We were initially planning on going somewhere up near Seattle where he lives, but I guess there is still snow where we were planning on going. Instead he decided that he was going to come down on the 4th of July and going to stay the night and we are going to do a trip up in the Columbia River George. My dad is a retired cop and its going to be interesting if he looks in my garage and sees what I have going on. My dad is all for medical marijuana and legalization to tax and treat it as alcohol. But I feel he still has that cop mentality and am curious as to how he is going to react because I am his son.

I feel the reason cops and people that are anti marijuana are just misinformed and sticking to stereotypes which oppresses marijuana users and affects relationships.

Just thought I would post this up and will give feedback on how the situation goes! I have all my proper medical documentation so I am not too worried, just curious as to what my father is going to think. Going to make for an interesting 3 days in the woods if he sees it before we go. lol

Update : Thanks for the feedback guys! I was going to update once I got back from Seattle this coming Sunday, but they are looking pretty damn good and thought I would have to share! I had to hook up my carbon filter because these suckers started to stink up my house.

Here is a pic before the feeding, I topped these guys originally but have been fim'ing the shit out of them lately. all besides that puny small ass pineapple, I dont think it has grown an inch since I have transplanted it. Looks like it got a bit of nute burn because I just fed it the same as the other plants. Today I just fed it root excelurator and cal mag no other nutes.

Just watered them today seems like I am going every 3 days between feedings, I raised the light up about 18 inches above canopy to cut down on the heat a little bit. The temp seems to be anywhere from 79-85 w/ light on depending on ambient temp in garage

Heres the rest of the pics, you will also notice I built a silencer box for my fan and duct muffler ( super quiet now ) My Tangerine dream which is Sativa dominate has sure been staying short and bushy, I am sure it will stretch a bit when I switch to 12/12 on 30JUN2013 that will mark roughly 3 weeks of veg

Last but not least, don't think I have uploaded this one yet! this was them on 08JUN2013. My oh my have they grown! lol

Good grow man. I am a fellow Washington grower as well and I have a few Tangerine Dreams going. Yours look good. I like your silencer box. I had to build a silencer box as well.

I think your small plant was nute burned a little bit when the clone was taken. I have seen a few of them like that in the dispensaries. Some time they come around, some time they don't. I had a couple clones I got from the dispensary that looked like that and they never really grew right.

I am looking forward to the Tangerine Dream flowering.

Awesome to meet another from Washington, such a nice state! Thanks for the feed back! I think its about time I get my lazy ass out there and take some new photos. Just fed them today, also noticed some eggs under one of my leaves with some small holes in the leaf. I cut it off and treated my plants with Spinosad. No other signs of bugs anywhere else, so that is good!

Update: took these pictures today and thought I would share with you guys!

First, what do you think may have caused this? PH of water is 6.5 going in and 6.5 -6.0 runn off. This is the only leaf that looks like this so I just cut it off.

Also this was a bug damaged leaf, but no signs of bugs. what type of bug does this damage?

the rest of the pics! If you notice some of the leaf tips look cut and deformed this is from FIM'in them, this is normal right?

Hi Backpackin, Wow they are getting big, your girls look so happy and healthy! Keep in mind that I'm a total noob, but from what I've read fim's are supposed to look funky at first so yours should be fine.
In your group shot are the taller ones the pineapples? My pineapples got tall way faster than their bomb sisters. And then when it came to budding they were slower than the others at first so I was kind of dissapointed with them. But in the last couple of days they have been catching up bigtime! It's so much fun watching these things grow, isn't it!

Yep the taller ones are the pineapples and the Tangerine seem to be staying short and branching out, but I was told that tangerine dream will stretch a bit once 12/12 is started. The light just went out at 12pm and wont come back on until 9pm tommarow and I will start my 12/12. Thanks for the feedback FC and watching these things grow is a blast!

Thanks Hodder and CA thought I would just throw up a couple pic's today as this is their second day of 12/12 and full strength bloom nutes under the HPS bulb.

Nothing really yet to look at up close and I took the pic's just as the light was turning on so its kinda blah with the color, sorry about that. Next week I will take some photos right before the light turns on and we will see how they have progressed into week 2 of flower!

Alright guys just got back from my backpacking trip and gonna upload some pics once I get settled in. Dad never even looked in my garage so did not have to explain anything lol. Anyways the trip was a huge success did around 19 miles got a lot of pics and plan to upload some pics of my plants around 9pm tonight right before the light comes on! Stay tuned!
