I think nute burn. Tips are yellowing then cripsing, I had that problem, but I also fryed my little ones, and had to start over then. I had Nute burn, PH swings, and the res temp was over 72 to often, really messed things up for me. But I remember the tips yellowing, and that happened when I increased the nutes. Good luck

Whats your ppm reading?I would only use veg nutes should be ready to flower by the time you get back.Aslo I would tlc (Tie the stocks of the plant down to each corner to spread the bush out)keeps them low and bushyer and light penetrates better.This is best done while there young and flexable.Have a nice trip sounds fun to get out of the country where are you going.Stear clear of south america

But they are seriously dying out there, they need Professional Medical [marijuana] attention

I want to follow rosemans 8 step method but I don't have any peroxide

What should I do?

Miraculously the pH is still 6.0, but there are signs of leakage and my plants are crisping up

I also think it might be heat-related. The temperatures recently have been getting into the high 90's and the attic is around there too.
I'm about to drain everything, disassemble the backup res, and refill

Info needed bro. What PPM's were you running while gone? I can't believe they haven't really grown much. Heat I'm sure will stunt them, but for a couple of weeks your babies have minimal growth and little roots. We need to get those roots in the water so she can get an explosion of growth. Did you get the res temps before draining them?
Good thing is I think you can still get these girls to take off and make some great plants and bud! Very nice to see that they are still alive and kickin'

Another note, do you have a fan on them? The stems look a bit small at the bottom and thicker higher up??? Is that the pic playing tricks on me, or my eyes playing tricks on the pics?

Glad to see they made it.Yes I would for sure change out your res.Go back to 1 quarter feeding.TDS should be no more than 100 parts I would guess.Looks like solution is way to hot.Just lower your solution mix with fresh cool water first and see what happens.I would also turn your drips down or turn pump off every once and a while this will cause the roots to grow faster towards your res.The thin stocks I would keep a close eye on they would be fine if they could be replanted deeper in rock whool but I wouldnt advise inless absulutely nessesary.

I was cleaning the system and my plants fell and one of the stalks broke on one and none of them are potted anymore. I don't think I can continue with hydro, should I kill the project or try replanting them in soil and force them back into veg?

Shitty...Well no dont give up.If you plant in soil or stick with the hydro and there allready unpotted.I would take bottom dead leafs of and plant them deeper in the rock wool or soil so that the thin part of the stock is covered along with a little bit of the healthy stock.Keep it humid and warm to incurage rooting.You should not be flowering you have quite a ways for that?It takes at least 3 months from start to finish dont start flower till your plants are about 18 inches tall?Odds are your not going to have a perfect grow your fist time but you will gain the know how and experience for you next grow.

i agree with turttle, just dust them with root tone and stick it deeper in the wool and you will be fine imo. we learn from our mistakes.

Alright guys
I put away the Deep Water Culture machine (maybe next year)

Planted the 3 unbroken ones into a large pot last night keeping the stems under a little because of the dead lower leaves and flimsy stems

They are looking great and I am feeding them miracle grow houseplant stuff (which has worked great for all my houseplants in similar pots)

Transplant was mostly successful and all of the roots came free of the hydroton so I have some good hopes

The one with the bent stem I tied to some toothpicks (this is one of the healthiest besides the bent stem) and planted in a tiny clearing I made in a giant thorn patch (with most of the stem under so it will stay straight) a little ways from my house, guerrilla style

I don't think anyone goes in there so my only concern is deer, but I'm only gonna be checking it every week or so

Alright guys picture time
I suppose it's good that I'm vegging them longer, maybe I'll get a higher yield

only hassle is that now I have to wait until break from college which is sometime in october to come back and harvest them and i have no idea what to do for curing and drying since I only have 4 days before I go back

Also I need to water them while I'm away.
I guess my improv reservoir will work in soil since that is what it was designed for but I may need a bigger container or something since I doubt 12 gallons is enough (I don't know what will be? for 5 weeks? maybe I can leave them outside by my guerilla one and hope they get rain? or get an aquaglobe or something? fuck my schedules are messed up now. Whatever, life goes on

I had the same experience with bubbling,i put mine in soil and harvested about a week ago.But i tried again with some clone in hempy and perlite,they are doing great.jjust my 2 cents
