Live and learn, vegge in a nice small tent, less money on electric, then transfer to mondo Fold-8 750watts for Flower, i love this ! I cant tell you how we use to scour the pages of HighTimes for bud picks and everything weed. That was 1975 i was 12yrs old, thats a long wait.

The girls have been chopped !!!! I cant get the temp down into the 60’s, best i can hope for is 68°, humidity is a non issue as my humidifier is the bomb, im very nervous

Day 4 of drying and its gonna be a slow go of it. Nothing to report, pics in the morning, i have to check the humidifier

Drying is pretty uneventful, i cleaned the humidifier, made sure everything was still hanging and nothing fell, other than that its a waiting game. They are starting to dry, its day 7 tomorrow. It smells like humid grass and pot

Ok, day 7 of the dry, its been a steady 69° and RH 55-60 and the leaves on the outside are drying and curling, but…..

The stems are bending not snapping, are we still in agreement that snapping is a must ????

Not me. The larger stems won't snap for a long time. Pick up a cola. Feel how heavy or light it is. My guess is at this point it's light and if they were mine probably try snipping buds and going into jars or a turkey bag with a hygrometer to see.

I got a Wood Moisture Meter on the last grow and it really takes the guess work out of the dry. I was able to extend my dry from about 7 to 11 days (the last 2-3 days was a slow change from 12.5% to 10.5% internal moisture). Best of all the buds hit right at 61% when I bagged them (~10.5% moisture on the meter = ~60% humidity in the bag). For under $25 it was definitely worth it, I no longer feel like I'm guessing when the buds are dry enough.
