Looking good. Ive had extra growth before. Like a node making another node. Kinda kool. The damage could be from you when you toper her. That new tissue is real reak soft and can be damage by the slightest touch some times. Nothing to worry with id say.

Hey Roam! I was looking at the pics of your girls on the previous page. From what I can tell the angles look ok to me. You just don’t want the branches to come “down” from the main stalk when you train them. Let me try to find a pic of what will happen. Lol. This is from my last grow...

You can see how the shoots toward the middle were quite a bit taller than the ends. I ended up having to train them out as well. But it slowed the growth of the main branch tips to a point that they never made it to the edge of the pot. I had to train the shoots and let up on the ends to get the canopy even before flower.
 
Thank you for replying magoo I see what you are talking about so I should make sure that my main cola branches are taller than the stuff on the inside? I am definitely keeping this in mind as I keep on training them I have so much fun with it.
 
So this is a picture of my youngest plant the one that is not being topped and I think this picture is proof that it is a lady does anyone else agree?

so does topping of a plant make them take longer to show signs of sex? the Widow was a week younger than the rest but she has never been HST'ed
 
Good question. I don't think so, personally. It's all genetics to me. I found with my autos that when I topped them too much the stress forced them to flower early. But it never showed signs of sex, just blew right past puberty.
I think it requires more research.

I got rid of it at least it was a small branch the plant can put it's energy into 3 cola's instead of 4 it's still better than 1 lol I am sad but it is my first time growing I am going to be more gentle. And thanks knifemaker
 
So I guess a update is due, They are all outside in 5 gallons the three headed one looks as best as it can without it's 4th cola. The Lemon was yellow today at the very bottom so I broke the dry cycle just to give it like 200ml of some food now just wait but my last 2 pictures are the Lemon is that enough to say t is female?

All the seeds are feminized but I still want to have the fun of spotting all of the ladies and they show a wispy hair. 2/4 and I feel after the last 2 pickup from transplant shock they will go nicely under the sun.
 
I kept bumping there cages so I decided to firmly fasten them to their bucket with some orange colored pipecleaners and it conveniently gave me some good places to attach other holds. I might just be impatient but are the last 2 ever going to show sex like this is their day 69. One of the strawberries you that may have seen in the background in the beginning of my journal has finally opened a flower I thought it was pretty and wanted to share with you.

I also have a question the side shoots on lil miss WW are getting long do people more commonly let them do there thing or is like light manipulation done? This girl is going to have just one main cola but I don't know what these side branches do. Thank you ahead of time to anyone that feels like explaining what they do. :passitleft:
